  1. Think the boost of Remy and the Fire of Cabaye coming on really made the difference. Thats being a touch harsh on Gouffers who should be our starting left wing until we actually buy someone capable of playing there. Mapou I thought was excellent alongside Colo Marveaux flatters to deceive really, some gorgeous touches and a few jinky runs. I still think he can play a major part here I am just not sure where. He is certainly no winger, not anymore at any rate. I thought Anita played very well, just doesn't quite have the class of delivery that Cabs does, he and Sissoko seem really limited by Pardews tactics to get forward. Sissoko had one of his better games though, all action, physical and pacey. Good to see. Overall Pardew still lacks the guts to send players forward to support attacks and it kills the team, the crowd and the game. Great to see Remy who seemed to offer us something completely different. I excited to see him and Cisse together. Remy creates so much space by pulling players towards him I think that extra space will be what Cisse needs to grab those goals.
  2. Is exactly right and yet so completely wrong, especially at home. Its not just our midfield. I have seen it with Debuchy as well. There have been gaping holes on the right wing where he should have been bombing forward and giving us an option. It is Pardew's tactics without a doubt. Could not be more depressing. I like the guy but I can't bloody wait until he leaves the club, taking us down without a doubt with absolutely no evidence to suggest he can or knows how to turn it around.
  3. can we have a sweepstake on how many years it is going to take us to replace Nolan? The thing is, he needed replacing which is why I wasn't overly upset when we sold, think we should have kept him in the squad regardless. Sissoko should be this player really but he is too busy running all over the field. If we channeled him directly through the middle he might yet be the replacement.
  4. People with "Knowledge" of the game working out what we have been screaming about for years. Yet again... we never replaced Nolan and we have lacked guts and interest in bursting runs through the middle ever since. Its criminal what we offer for punditry. Other than that glaring deficiency and some really thoughtless passing at times I thought Sissoko and Anita have played well.
  5. Until that bit's been determined I remain sceptical. Its been a few hours since Chelsea signed a winger like "other interested parties" doesn't mean just Chelsea though. Well if thats the case I hope we turn to Victor Moses on loan. We should be in there anyway.
  6. Bite your bloody hand off for that to happen. Which is embarrassing considering at the start of the window we needed that plus another CB and attacking/creative mid. Think there is as much chance of us signing those two as us finishing in the top 10 or us sacking Pardew. Take your pick.
  7. Liverpool looking good for that 6th spot. Some solid signings.. Cissoko (when he is back) and Sahko are great signings. Should be a good fight between Swansea, Everton, Southampton and Norwich for the rest of the top ten, followed by Villa, Fulham, Mackems and maybe us.
  8. Well if they cover all bases one of them has to get it right. To be honest to people wondering why wait to bid now? I think with Thauvin he has his heart set on Marseille and is holding out for it. His agent must have given us some indication that he will consider us if Marseille falls through. Its approaching end game for the window and Marseille looks unlikely so we might as well chance our arm. No point bidding earlier if he was going to hold out for Marseille.
  9. Surprised we haven't followed up interest in him. Would be a solid addition to us imo.
  10. It simple we either give him games or we loan him out. Thats the only way to put the argument to rest. This place is like a yo-yo after a decent performance or two. Sammy has a lot of skills in his locker, whether he has the mentality we will just have to see. I remember Shola looking fantastic for the U21s and tricking his way past everyone in the box. I don't hold out much hope tbh but I am not going to write him off until we have really seen enough of him. He looked lively off the bench in the league but maybe thats his best role.
  11. Angry he asked Kinnear the direction to Mike Ashleys office for the interview..
  12. looks like he is staying tbh. Fair play to the board for having the balls to follow Liverpools suit. He needs fining as well imo.
  13. Don't let sense or logic get in the way of French entitlement and principle. There is only one winner.
  14. We play a league 2 side and our two league two standard players win it for us.
  15. Not sure if serious. This serious.. http://www.crazyfooty.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/wenger-guitarepa4d.gif
  16. Last minute jammy equaliser to take it back to SJP. Then lose on Penalties in the replay. Should be playing some of the young-uns in this one but Pardew has no choice but to play pretty much a first 11. All hell will break loose if we lose, and he should be wary of that.

  18. Its so fucking grim, yet somehow people at the club always find ways to make things even grimmer for us. I can't even entertain the thought of Ayew, we have been linked to so many great players and absolutely nothing ever happens past a low ball half arsed bid to try and placate fans.

    Alan Pardew

And for half of that match we just as turgid as now. I honestly don't know if we have ever had a solid committed performance over 90 minutes under Pardew. The guy is an utter sham of a coach and he has clearly exhausted any control he has on player performance and motivation. No other club would ever have put up with such woeful management for this long. There is literally no glimmer of hope for improvement none at all.
  20. Would be a good signing for us. Plenty of good options out there though. Moses could happen imo and both Sinclair and Ince will move if their price is met.
  21. We will settle for 14m and call it undisclosed. I want rid of him asap. Crossed the line with his refusal to play, especially after a season where we backed him throughout his poor form and personal problems. He should be looking to repay our faith in him. Poor form.

    Alan Pardew

its better than the alternative, unless you like the idea of JFK in charge and relegation Honestly I'm at the point where worst case scenario: we bin pardew and don't hire poyet, di Matteo or hoddle, JFK would still at least make the team give a shit. Have more faith in kinnear than pardew at the moment... And any JFK informants don't make that appear as advocating JFK as boss , the club and fans deserve so much more. First manager of the year sacked is better business and far more interested then fifth or sixth at the end half of the season.
