Id agree. I think we will shift both though. Id also rather keep willock out of the two. He is a bit of a false luxury though. Willock needs consistent match time to get back on form and dangerous, we cant afford to play him when he is off form and almost a liability. He is also another injury risk player too that we dont need. Willock fit and on form is unplayable though.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin (playing for Leeds United)

Osula has to move up the ladder and get more game time. If not he will surely be gone in January or next summer. The only real potential upside to DCL over a younger versatile forward (i'm imagining from the outside the PL) is the fact Howe would play him from the off rather than taking a year to bed him in like a younger player. Still hope we bring in another versatile forward though. DCL serves a very specific role but versatility and someone with a better fitness record would be more handy. -
Lots of farewell posts and videos on twitter. I read the Ornstein tweet as closer to Leeds walking away than us accepting lol Writing does look on the wall for him though. Other clubs have been linked so maybe we are posturing a bit and happy to hold out for closer to 15m.

Sounds like we want more that 12m. A year out of contract, its likely a good deal. Sad to see him go but we can definitely upgrade and a few should be pushing from the reserves. Does this really not effect our CL homegrown quota though? Was sure we had to keep him. Confused with how it works now!

Beauty!!! Now... next signing please.

All a smokescreen for our bid for maguire.

Personally I think its all a ruse to bait Chelsea into hijacking the deal amd signing someone that will spend the season on the treatment table. All while we go get our real number one target.
-
Aye. There is no way Tonali isn't giving him a glowing recommendation to join. Even offered to book a table and buy him a meal at Michelin 3 star restaurant Wetherspoons if he signs.
-
Will be poo pooed and rejected by morning with another club in for him.

Awful news to wake up to. Thoughts to their friends and family and everyone at LFC. So sad.

"Chelsea enter negotiations for Tyler Dibling." Incoming For the second time.

All concacaf teams will get slaughtered on this form lol we all suck.

Shaffelburg lost his head, silly second yellow, then we made a bunch of strange subs. Got unlucky on penalties. Learning experience but we haven't worked out how to graduate from being underdogs. Luc De Fougerolles looks like he is going to be great on the upside and a good tournament for Saliba, Sigur and Buchanan. We are a different proposition with Bombito, Davies, Eustaquio added back in. Hopefully Promise David and Jebbison have good seasons. Maybe someone else new pops up too.
-
Can't lie. Its a major bummer if he was a prime target and we thought we were getting him. Could turn out to be a blessing though. We want players that want to be here and for the right reasons. This wasn't him. We move on.
-
No, Juve are/were close but his agents are fucking everything with their ridiculously high fees. Chelsea seems like a natural destination given they would pay anything.
-
Lasses back to work. Wonder if there are new faces out there with them already. Going to be a busy summer.
-
I want players that want to be here. I won't be losing any sleep over those that don't by choosing elsewhere. Good luck to him if he chooses Chelsea. Welcome if he picks here where he can continue developing.

Xavi Simons would be incredible. Shame the links are garbage.
-
Still waiting for a monitoring tbh.
-
Very happy if we up it slightly and then walk if they dont take it. They are signing his replacement(s) All those other options mentioned are as good if not better imo. We can get better value abroad.
-
Know nowt about him. Fact its the same guy that broke the Tonali news bodes well. Its the type of signing we like. Injury record does look a worry but I assume if we are actually in for him we arent concerned. What's his pace like? Thought we really need a pacey CB too.

Great little interview that. Not to stereotype your average football players brain capacity, ok go on then, but you can see why finding the right players that can adjust and thrive under Howe can be challenging or bedding players in takes time. Credit to those with English not their first or second language!

Chelsea are already in talks with Kolo Muani arent they?

True dat.
