I cant blame Manure for fielding a weakend side next week, Id want us to do the same if we were in the same position. Seems so weird to even think of being in that area of the table anymore. -

What the hell is up with Villa? They better fecking score a hatfull in the second half. They will roll us over at home if they lose today IMO. Bolton need to score again... and again... and again. -

Dissapointing Poor defending has cost us again. We can come back into this though, unlucky to be behind give our posession. -
Id take tuncay as a squad player. downing wouldnt be worth the money and spuds would outbid us anyway. koren has always looked decent but like morrison wouldnt be more than squad filler. we need first team starters. that said i might change my mind on them if we go down.

To be fair if it was man city or spurs In our place every board Including this one would have been doing the same. of course everyone wants to see the bigger profile clubs go down, its natural and probably roots from jealousy rather than hate. -
Michael Owen - Would you be disappointed if he stayed?
toontownman replied to Liam Liam Liam O's topic in Football
Not dissapointed if he stays or goes. -
Be careful, thats what he wants you to think! No suprise the performances are happening now he knows the is the possibility of bleeding us dry of another bundle of cash before he retires. He is gifted and still the man when he wants to be but he day of Newcastle United carrying that kind of player needs to be over. Aim to replace him ASAP as far as i'm concerned, he isnt really even a decent squad player, if he isnt playing he loses motivation and fitness, at his age he is too much of liability.
-
He has needed time to settle, certainly being in a club with our in-stability takes that away from you to begin with. He has never really settled into a specific role, playing wide Right, left, wing back, through the middle. He has talent, the end product needs alot of work but I wouldnt blame him for anything this season. Being around/playing with better players/coaches and even players with confidence would lift his game immensely. I really do hope he stays next year, given the right handling he can be massive for us. To be fair to the lad we knew he was milner with pace as soon as he got here, im suprised so many people are having a hissy fit now.
-
Delighted for him, hope we sign him on, he is a more than useful squad player and has taking alot of stick from pundits, which imo is uncalled for. How important have his goals been? If he wants the stay I hope we give him the option.

like the team, not convinced we will be 442 though. 3 5 2 might be on the cards. -
One thing is for sure, we could get relegated four times and still be better to watch than than the mls toronto are absolute gash, the passing and possesion is woeful.
-
Pretty convinced he will stay on. think he will bring in a daglish-esq mentor figure for dof, sack of calderwood and hughton and replace them with carver and lee, maybe one more if dowie wants away somewhere. regardless of which division we are in we will see at least half the squad out of the door too. Relegation might be a blessing in that respect with less than a handfull really worth the money we pay them.
-
Should have been playing guthrie from the start anyway. hope he gets his chance now, buggered if h know who will partner him. worse still, with barton letting us down yet again it will probably mean seeing him shipped out and smith staying next season.
-
Last appearance in a newcastle shirt tbh. shame for us and him.

Kevin phillips. nailed on, kinnears first signing of the summer!
