To be fair If I see Ince im going to bloddy plead he doesnt take the job if he is offered it. With you there, not a fan of the bloke, and there's no way he deserves the job. But to call on all managers to boycott the club? That's really going to help us move forward. :-[ Well we tried the direct approach with Ottmar, now we try reverse psychology. Keep the faith, he is coming.

http://www.mailonsunday.co.uk/sport/football/article-1054714/Newcastle-suffer-viral-attack--Toon-comedy-club-targeted-email-pranksters.html?ITO=1490 Nice. Now I'm sure toon fans sending those in dont feel and look like twats now. Feed the monster and watch it grow. Just like tmrw, the only one thats going to gain anything is the general public and the press, having yet another side splitting laugh at the club we love. -
6 weeks to 3 months? Had Taylor sidelined for ages didnt it? Depends how badly it was dislocated?
-
Thank fuck we have a capable right wing replacement in Alan Smith... Oh fuck!
-
Houllier? maybe to replace wise he would never work under him.
-
Ince, that is funny! Saw Venables mentioned too. Wouldnt be too suprised by the latter, wouldnt be that bad of a bet if he didnt have any say in the money/signings side of the job.
-
Sure he said that!

Would you support a fans' trust to takeover NUFC actively & financially?

This, for starters. -
Maybe Poyet just doesnt feel ready to manage yet, which is fair enough he will learn alot from Ramos. Suits me. Wouldnt mind him coming on board as assistant, but it would be a bad idea. If it wasnt the press there would be a running thread on here about how he is biding his time to undermine whoever was in charge and take his job.
-
More about getting the right players for the right prices. Ie Warnock, we bid for him several times this summer. How much is too much? 3m, 4m, 5m, 10m? Whilst its fair to say we are being tight fisted, its a logical reaction considering our reputation of spending obscene amounts of money on utter crap, they are trying to get value. Yes its dissapointing we dont want to jizz 20m away on bringing Robbie Earle out of retirement but we have a club now getting itself into a position that it will be supporting itself fine when the current owner does leave rather than being up s*** creek without a paddle like the mackems, man city etc might be. I will mention I was pissed off as much as anyone we didnt get a LB or Milner replacement in but if it means paying 3m more for a Warnock when we can use that money on buying another guthrie in January Im all for it.

Who are actually the realistic candidates for manager?

Has been mightily impressive so far, would like him in certainly as assistant. If we do end up bringing in the likes of Zico/Terim we will need someone in addition to Hughton that has knowledge and experience of the english game. -
Not if he is on the same page of thinking as Pele! I'm not convinced by himas a coach tbh, obviously he would be an immense presence, but so would Pele or Godzilla. Zico and Poyet or someone with experience in the English game would make more sense. Likewise if we do end up plumping for Poyet he will need an experienced and talented head to join him in the coaching set up alongside Hughton.

This is the hard one, I was pondering just say by some miracle we won the Carling Cup? Ashley is still there etc, how would everyone feel? I was 3 when the Fairs cup was won and I realy would like to see us win something. But in truth I dont see it and fear a relegation fight We can win the league, FA cup and Carling Cup, but its would still be the same as getting relegated if those cockney cunts are in charge, they have nothing but bad intentions for the club. Sorry thought I'd answer the question for 90% of the board users and save them the bother.

This. The last point I especially dislike. Everyones human, everyone makes mistakes. His system looks to have lost us a fantastic manager and possibly put our progress back 8 months. But I have no reason to believe he doesnt want the best for this club or cares any less for it than many supporters. We have a right to let him know what we think of what has happened, but people are promoting everything stopping short of burning his house down. He has everything to prove and a daunting amount of bridges to rebuild. Personally I'd rather see him stick it out (which Im sure HE has the intergrity to do) than sell up to an even more unknown quantity. Everyone is so confident that if we drive him out the ideal buyer will be sitting there with a twinkle in his eye and a magic wand. People are in for a ruder awakening than the past week. If you think managers would be mad to want to work under this system, I tell you any invester or buyer would be mad thinking about owning a club under this pressure and fan base.

I appreciate the fact he has finally gone. Thank you Terry, makes sense to cut any ties to KK and without disrespecting the tache too much we should be filling our back room staff with a much higher standard of coach. He will probably be back though, bless him!

KK resigns - see OP for new club statement issued September 6th

Midfielder or even wingback? Not a striker really is he? Think he pretty much plays all across the park. Keegan simply just wanted him as a replacement for Milner. He turned us down leaving the scouting team red faced and keegan seething. Xisco didnt have much to do with it according to most rumours. -

maybe put that on the OP and update it according to media? good idea You can add a rumoured section or split the Interested into confirmed/unconfirmed. Zola Mancini Dechamps Poyet Moyes Are all linked daily. -
Anyone that is engaging there brain long enough will agree with this. People can do what they want around the game, before it, at half time and certainly after it but whilst the game is running we have to support the players and lift them to do it one last time for Keegan and even more importanty for us, the supporters. Although it seems it could be argued, that chanting to get the board out, causing havoc and basically giving away the three points to Hull might be worth it in the long run if the board leave. I'd not be the one to argue it though.
-
Martins didnt play (1-0 to Nigeria), nor was he on the bench. So still 50/50 for saturday. Should hope not he will only bloody hurt himself again. Hope they resist using him tbh.
-
I'd like Mancini with Zola assisting. It would only be a matter of time before the board pissed Mancini enough to resign by which stage Zola would have at least cut his teeth further in coaching and know the Newcastle set up well enough to take over.
