Rather have Anelka.

Tuncay to spurs makes complete sense.

Like when Chelsea were in for him before and he rubbished it and said he wanted to stay? Bottom line is we took a huge risk on getting Owen here, his agents rightly screwed us over and we were the mugs that accepted their demands, as we were shitting it we would lose out to Liverpool or someone else. Back then it would have seemed less of a risk, from then to now everyone at the club would have thought he would have been our top goalscorer both seasons and enjoying his life up here. All that time out has certainly given him time to think about what he wants to do. Personally like quite a few others on here, im convinced none of the big clubs will touch him until at least January until he has either proven himself back to his best and injury free, or the opposite. Of course everyone would love to keep him if he came out and said he was staying, but im not going to cry if he leaves. He will get some quality abuse though upon his return, and with a bit of luck a shiner courtesy or Wor Al.

The guy is an Arsehole of the highest order. Be legendary if Roeder came out now and said "I dont have a fucking clue what your talking about graeme, but the club certainly had bigger problems when i took over than when i first got to the club."

Its ok folks, we are back in the game... http://www.tribalfootball.com/article.php?id=42951 Think parky has been telling porky pies to tribal football again... seriously i dont know how they get away with making so much shit up on there, according to them we are in talks with Bellamy, Ben-Haim and Young.
-
Not adversed to a part exchange if Owen really wants to go, but I wouldnt encourage it either, much rather keep Owen, just not if he doesnt want to stay. We need players that actually want to play for us afterall. Mind you we could probably use the money to buy Anelka.. Bellamy/Anelka.. you choose.

Allardyce interested in Luke Young ... Barton deal could fall through
toontownman replied to KaKa's topic in Football
Defensively better than both, if he is on. Better player than Solano all round, not for me. -
Taylor, Rosenhal, Ben-Haim, Brown would be a decent pool of players for next season. infinately better than what we have been used to. All four are versatile aswell, so they can happily slot into spaces if there are any. Baines was on cracking form for the U21's last week, I will be very happy if we can get him here. Add a decent RB then fullback cover and we are ready to roll!

Really not inspired by Luke Young, an improvement on Carr, Granted, but not any better than Taylor at RB let alone Solano. If we sack Carr off, bring in Young and a First choice RB aswell, ok.. but Im not a fan of Young at all. On his better days he is average. -
I cant agree with that, Martins is a different player to Bellamy, like Viduka is to Sibierski, a player who personally i think is superior to Bellamy. Like Viduka is to Sibierski. I dont think going back for a player that is not as good allround or in terms of goalscoring is anything less than a backwards step, much like getting Sibierski back would be. Granted the gap inbetween Bellamy and Martins isnt as big as Sibbers and Viduka. But I would fail to see the point in selling someone that has scored more than Bellamy ever has in one season. I understand peoples frustrations with the lad at times, but given some decent coaching, his age, the fact he will actually be prepared for the premiership next season. They sky is the limit with the guy. You know why your getting with Bellamy, if anything he has gone down hill since being with us, and for me he isnt worth the trouble off the pitch.
-
Dont understand selling Martins. Its like saying let sell Viduka and get Sibierski back. If we are this critical of Martins after his first season scoring 17 goals and at the age of 22, the god help the poor sod that would come in and replace him. Carr is the only guy I want to see shipped out of the club, asap. Fast followed by Baba.

He has been in touch however to advise Sam to make sure he goes to watch every transfer target at least 10 times before deciding whether he should have bid weeks before the player had already moved on.

Rednapp is a fool, sky's version of Le Saux, with a bit of luck they will axe him like the BBC did Le Saux.
-
Wonderfull, Milner needs some competition for end product bashings around here.
-
Yeah, not sure if he is still there though
-
Touche! hehe Tuncay can play on the Right Wing aswell. So good cover all round.
-
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let this be true. He can play right across the park, would be a terrific squad signing, has the passion and mentality to play for us aswell, plus being mates with Emre is a bonus. Dont believe a word of it, but its nice to think about.
-
I think thats more an indicative of the fact no one really wanted the majority of players that have played for Spurs over the past 10 years. Carrick, Campbell, Carr, Sherringham, Barmby off the top of my head.. although Carr doesnt count because despite alot of spurs fans being bitter about him leaving it wasnt a bad decision even if it did take til Chimbonda to replace him properly. I would say you were far from a feeder or selling club to the bigger sides though. You could name double the equivalent players we have sold during that time.
-
Its alright we always have Lee Clark ready to lace up as a replacement.
-
Add Butt for sure, but like him or not you cant complain the Dyer didnt make a difference to us when coming back. The tame end to the season was probably inevitable given how long he has been out for and the amount he has played in the short space this season is probably the longest time he has been fit in years. 30 appearances and 7 goals isnt bad for the little cretin. His impact for the first few months back turned us around.
-
Still a very possible outcome to the Owen situation. Shame Owen is three times the player Bellamy will ever be, we will make a significant loss on him whenever we sell him mind.
-
Trabelsi looked good early on for city. I didnt see much of him after xmas though. Now all the journalists are calling him a flop, hence his release. Was he really that bad? Dont think he offers that much more than Solano really though. Miguel on the other hand is being tracked by Spuds and someone else over here, cant remember who mind. Would be a decent punt. If we are talking big money signings we should be bidding for Micah Richards, although it would more than likely go the same way the Rooney Fiasco did.
-
Dont really know enough about Rozenhal to compare him to Brown, but with Browns ability to cover RB and Experience in Europe I would be thrilled to get him.. That said Rozenhal could be better, he was also deployed as a DM for a chunk of this season. So also brings a bit of versatility to the table.
-
Getting Ben-Haim would be fantastic with Rozenhal possibly not very far behind. Really hope we sign Baines though. A top Class LB must be the priority after Ben-Haim. Great if the Independant article is right though. None of the other rags have picked up this info, but who knows.
