...at throwing a strop. Attitude can be the only reason he wasnt a starter today, and if its true that his ego is a bad as it is, there is justification that it needs rectifying. It takes a great manager to be able to handle that kind of personality flaw well, I think if SA had been in charge earlier it wouldnt have been a problem.

Lets see how nice he is about things after we going in trying to poach Speed, Forde, Sbragia and Mark Taylor for our new coaching set up. Would say no to Phil Brown and maybe the carlisle boss either.
-
what do you expect, hes signed for spurs you know Id still say Viduka will be a nailed on signing though, exactly the type of player big sam likes and is on a bosman. Dont reckon we will see either of Owen or Martins leaving, although the former would be the obvious choice to leave if either was going to.
-
An extra Bosman for your list... http://uk.news.yahoo.com/itn/20070513/ten-best-in-us-footie-deal-ea4616c.html Robson green still has a chance.

Would help him having a decent strike partner. College Dropout is right about the movement though, Id expect him to improve dramatically on that front, although his sporadic movement in the box is sometimes one of his stronger points, how many times have we seen him pull back rather than get right into the goal mouth, then receive the ball and fire it home. He still has alot to learn about the game over here and how to get the best of opposition defences, with the right coaching he can be imense.

The academy set up is certainly a whole lot healthier, who ever steps into the hotseat certainly has alot of work to do, but I dont think Roeder has done much damage to the club. In fairness he did alot of repair work from the state Souness got us in. The clubs in the right state for the new man to do whatever he likes with it really. For Big Sam its perfect for the taking, I just hope if its him he can bring the coaching staff we need.

Does it matter who we buy with the money we get for either? whether its Ronaldinho or Luke Chadwick they are still going to be ripped apart by morons on here. We have a 22 year old who has come into a new league and played more than double the amount of games he has ever played in a season, yet scored 17 times, he has all the attributes to become one of the best players in the league if not Europe, but because he gets a few perfomances wrong we are better off selling him? Give the guy a couple of seasons and some decent coaching please. As for Owen regardless of whether he is on form, injured or not apparently he never had an interest in playing for us so lets drive out another one of our best players in the hope we will bring in someone inferior that we willl obviously be happy with.

About 5'9" That doesn't even make sense
-
Only problem is he is gagging to go back to Oz, might get two years out of him if we are lucky.
-
He will just have to wear a gimp mask when he plays.

Sunderland

He will be back next season.. In a Red shirt.
-
Over the hill tbh. not worth the money we would have to pay for him.

Quite like the look of Hunt at Reading too, Sorin might not be a bad shout, although maybe a bit too old now, would certainly be an allardyce type signing.
-
Jlloyd Samuel isnt the answer to anyones defensive problerms.
-
Players who would have left the club under Roeder, but will now stay.

Love to see what Allardyce could do with Luque if he isnt already signed, sealed and delivered to PSV's door. Bramble will no doubt get "Yet another chance". Unfortunatley Id say Carr and maybe Babayaro might have futures too. Gooch is as good as gone, Moore wants to go regardless. Owen who knows, I think he will stay, but stranger things have happened. Likewise N'Zogbia Sibbers will probably get another year extension as will Nobby. Will be interesting to see who gets another chance and who is shipped out. Like someone said earlier he will definatley want to analyse every player first when he gets here, problem is after Sunday they go off on holidays til pre-season, so where that is going to happen other than personal meetings who knows. -
Whats that parnaby like that has turned down a new contract a Boro, I thought he was tipped for decent things a couple of years ago, but he seems to have gone a bit Peter Ramage.
-
I dont know where people have got this luke young fetish. Personally I am convinced he is scarecely better than Carr. He hasnt been on the form that got him called up to the England setup in years, and even then he wasnt really all that. I cant believe Martins will be for sale, other than the fact he is probably the biggest fan favourite behind Nobby, he has unlimited potential. Viduka wouldnt suprise me at all, infact its got big sam signing all over it, a cheaper and better version of Kevin Davies and will give another year or so for big Andy to learn his trade. Distin looks set for Pompey as does Bramble. Would expect some big names coming our way (albeit over the hill ones).

After he was loaned out to Celtic, Fat man left it down to Souness if he wanted him back or not. If the new manager wanted Bellamy he would get him. Bellamy plus 5/6m wouldnt be bad.. although naturally Id prefer to keep Owen if he wants to stay.
-
Yeah would be quality if everyone is singing his name. Then it transpires next week we havent even been talking to him and get someone else in.
-
Terms agreed with Spurs. Has his medical next week . That's from his agent. Younes Kaboul at the same stage of progress. Looks like Levy has finally opened his wallet!! Would have just kept Berbatov if I were you, but Bent will be an adequete replacement and will work well with what you have left, plus if you rape them for as much as you did for Carrick you will have an odd £20m extra in your pocket.
