Has Tuncay signed a new contract yet? Both teams are dangerous on their day, like us really. Doesnt matter who we get..although obviously its nicer to travel to Holland. We will have to beat the best teams if we want to win it so I have no fears which team wins.

He was talking about optimistic nut tbh.. walking up to professional footballers and talking to them in their native tongue, who the hell does he think he is.

toon's taylor was being racial tbh..

I just like the way he gets upset at the accusation of them invading the board, but is fine with the fact their fans will stab ours. "Stabbings...thats a given, but dont you dare say we are idiots on the message board."

http://www.fansfc.com/frontpage/frontpagenews.asp?newsid=163082 aye a little bit more interesting rubbish. I had no idea he was at Villa, how has he been playing?

Yo ho! But remember to wave your scarves when we score!

Palermo at home aren't decent then? The ball all but hit him in the face, milners cross was so good. Jason Lee would have tucked that chance away.

Fine effort so far.. if the weather is good HTT might even turn up aswell!

Excellent, will be good to see Luque and Martins upfront together. Shame for the Sibbers losing one of his only chances to get closer to 10 goals for the season (even if he thinks he can get 15-20). Huge chance that will no doubt be squandered again by Luque. Of course he might well score a couple, be man of the match but still be dropped for the wigan game. Its a chance all the same. Bar the goal he cant play too much worse than Sibbers did last week.. or is that tempting fate?

We more than likely wont touch him, but well done to the lad. Will probably sign for the mackems and knock a couple past us next season. Roeder trying to recreate some Kevin Phillips magic?
-
2 more than McClaren also..

ameobi and baba.. simple

The Zog wasnt even playing any better than Duff. Like HTL has touched upon and has been said before, its the second season blues.. much like you see with the form of teams that overacheive. Depending on how Duff gets on from now to the Zogs return, he will be great foil for N'Zog and helping him regain his form. Bringing duff in might have knocked his confidence a bit, but all the best players thrive on competition, not least the chance to learn from someone like Damien Duff who has done more than well for himself throughout his career. With Duff's versatility much like with Solano and Milner we can ease them in and out of the team whilst shaping their careers.

Mclaren is without a doubt one of the most unworthy and worst managers to have the honour of managing the national team. Will probably end up winning the European cup or something stupid now...then again maybe not.

Depends on the game. Im happier with Butt and Parker at the moment though. Solid if not unspectacular. Its Emre and Parker that hasnt really worked yet.
-
Aye, wish the FA would actually do something. He will have had that "calf injury" for 6months before they decide to ban him. But thats for another thread. Zog in CM might well happen when he is back.
-
Will be nice to have the Zog back, hopefully this break has revitalised him and his spirits. We need the Zog of this time last season. Will be nice to see Duff pushed for competition on that Left Wing aswell.

Haper has done well, but Given has been in a different class this season. Not just a different class to Harper either, there a few Keepers that can touch him this season.

Thats the one im talking about, horseshoe effect would be awesome at SJP, and im pretty sure its planning permission viable. Nice Hollywood style NUFC in the middle.. or not.

On an up point it cant be any worse than Alien Autopsy with ant and dec. Maybe they can get Vinnie to recreate the "got balls" incident.

Owen is going nowhere until at least the end of next season. Whilst you can never say never in football, there is next to no chance of Owen going anywhere after all the faith, money and time we have invested in him, he is happy up here and he is a honest pro. He will see out his deal here unless we push him out. I think he will be at least back on the bench by the end of March.. Hoping he will take some party of the city at home game Im coming up for.

(not serious) Idea on how to get the noise levels up at St. James Park.

errr.... yessss. But only if he shouts DIIIIIIIVVVEEE if someone appeals for a penalty against us. -
Aye the horseshoe effect looks the best, and is actually planning permission viable. Could put some kind of poncy architectual arch in between or something.

when people talk about the pressures on Glenn and he moans about having to manage the club, take training prepare for a match whilst sorting transfers out, he would be so under pressure if he didnt come out setting standards. He doesnt help himself by saying we are after X amount of players and players in these positions at the start of the window, or setting himself targets that will increase that pressure. For instance when in the past has another manager spoken about targets this year, let alone the official website publish quotes talking about potential players. Id prefer him to just keep quiet. If we get the players he is linking us to fine, but he is making himself look like a twat when they go elsewhere. He bends to far too please the fans sometimes. But of course thats not a bad thing, he is better than that though, he has more than the majority of the fans support, something his predecessor never had, he doesnt need to try so hard to impress.
