1. Rob Styles man of the match for Liverpool.
2. Milner was our only consistently good player last season. He hasn't turned shit, we just got rid of the two other players who could show some movement from time to time. Who the hell is he supposed to cross to? There's no one there.
3. He's a good player, but his lack of blistering pace means he needs support from the midfield and the right back. We're not playing to anyone's strengths when he has to run with the ball past his defender and whip in a cross to some dwarf sandwiched in between the opposition centre backs. Our problem is the complete lack of off the ball movement in the midfield and attack. Replacing Milner is never going to fix that.
4. Ameobi hasn't been playing much this season, but he did score five in 13 last season (three in the premiership), last one 15-10-2006, a week or so after Alan Smith's latest goal against Rome (his only goal that season). Smith picks up many times as many yellow cards, though.
5. If I were Mike Ashley Ya ha deedle deedle, bubba bubba deedle deedle dum. ... Someone come up with something to the tune of "If I Were a Rich Man".
6. Yeah, and my dad's fishing partner is the man who writes jokes for Terry Mac, and he told the same story. That means it's not true, btw.

Save our Shola!

Well, if Roeder could make him score goals, I'd expect Keegan to be able to do the same. The easiest way would of course be by selling him to Roeder.
8. It doesn't harm us, though, does it?
9. He's allright, Fulham paid £4m for him, which is a lot of money for a player from a danish club. He's very tall and has good defensive skills, but he's slow as hell, even Viduka could beat him in a sprint. He's not slow, he's just two meters tall, which makes him look far slower than he is. Roy Hodgson knows him well from his time at Viking. I don't think he'll save Fulham from relegation, though.
10. I need to select five options on this poll.
11. Sources no longer at the club told me Souness is a liar. (I remember him wanting Anelka and Boa Morte, though.)
12. Our players are mostly OK, but we lack a couple of things: someone to direct the midfield and movement up front. I saw someone mentioning that one of the plus points to Big Sam's time here was that he got rid of Sibierski. Well, today Sibierski scored Wigan's winning goal. He may be shite, but at least he was willing to run around a bit. A skint man of poor judgement's Bellamy, if you will. Allardyce was right to get rid, but not without getting a much better replacement.
13. immensely shit! bambi on ice mark 2 Wow, he actually said that. Caçapa was ... eh, he did a few things right and far too many mistakes. A very poor performance.
14. What £100M? http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=48562.0 Oh, the £100M our chairman Parky has decided we need to spend.
15. Oh, come on. That the owner sits with the fans and wears a replica shirt doesn't mean he thinks like a fan. It's a populist strategy to gain quick popularity. Nothing wrong with that, really, it shows that he knows football is about not only winning, but also winning the fans over. He doesn't need to wear a replica shirt to know that Allardyce's football wasn't winning anyone over. All it takes is watching the game, but sitting with discontent fans should make it painfully obvious.

17. No. I believe the reason why all the rumours say the same is that the journalists don't have any information at all, so they're just copying each other's stuff. Sheep. It seems to be based on Ashley dining with Kelmsley in Hong-Kong. They don't know anything more. All direct quotes from anyone has been that there has been no approach: "But we have had no approaches whatsoever, and I'm not so sure we ever will" (Storrie) then turns into the headline "Pompey set to let Harry go". I think we'll be pleasantly surprised.
18. I don't particularly want Shearer, but I'm starting to think that with so much rumours for so long, it won't be Redknapp after all. Chris Mort isn't one to blabber to the press all the time, and even Fat Fred managed to 'pleasantly surprise us' with Souness. It's only a rumour, and the journalists are just writing what the other papers already said.
19. He's a mediocre manager, English, old, will retire in a few years, accused of being corrupt. It's an appointment that says the owner has no ambition and no will to look beyond the usual managerial merry-go-round of dire mediocrity.
20. You know, that dog really does look like 'arry.
