While I’d rather we sign a more explosive midfielder, there is no denying if we can sign Tielemans we’re massively upgrading the technical quality of our team. I know the guy has played a ton of football up to now, but I suspect we’re seeing a guy who’s had club and country fatigue playing for the same coach who’s been struggling as of late and he’s in need of a move to freshen up the next stage of his career.

I’d have a midfield 3 of Joelinton, Willock and Bruno. I know both big and little Joe like the left but I’d want the work rate, pressing and countering of both of them with Miggy and Maximin when Arsenal are pushed forward.

I trust the process and the recruitment team. We exceeded expectations pre WC due to tremendous work ethic, team spirit and execution of incredibly meticulous tactical plan and credit to the lads and coaches. I think it’d be a missed opportunity to not shore up our current position as the rest of the top 7 will undoubtedly do so and have done so. The FFP thing is real, but there’s no way the PIF and ownership team can’t line up related party sponsors and/or legit 3rd party ones that won’t offset those in due course.

Not really upset at all. We should have won today and there will be a ton for Eddie and the coaching staff to work on as a result. We needed this for the season, 1) for transfers and 2) shake up in team selection too. Another clean sheet. Amazing 12 months as a toon fan, can’t wait for Arsenal.
