  1. this Matthew Wilkes SOB should never work a football match again! i don't care if he was instructed to only call throw-ins, etc by the ref--- the "i was just following orders" line has a dark history.
  2. so what's the millwall player opposite mcmanaman supposed to think in the upcoming match? i know if i'm that millwall player i'm thinking, 'do him before he does me'; and that's wrong. this isn't Rollerball for fuck's sake!

thing is there's loads of springfileds, theres only one sunderland (thankfully) and thats too many. my nasty town here in the states has a sunderland st. but no newcastle!

200 views & nothing? did i woosh myself? It's commonly said that the first 'Derby' between us and Sunderland was the Battle of Bouldon Hill in the civil war. Newcastle Royalist and Sunderland Parliamentarians. Sunderland won. No idea what it is you've posted. but, but...the STRIPES!!

probably got my english history all wrong, but is this the first ever derby day image? (obviously won by us!)
  7. i wonder are swansea fans acknowledging they dodged a bullet w/ that jammy goal?
  8. for some reason i seem to remember ryan taylor doing it well... or did i dream it?
  9. perhaps nwoat, but after seeing us struggle with this match after match, i'm wondering, who is the best ck taker ever in black & white?
  10. couldn't see the whole match but cabaye seemed to have a rough one. what was the bother a7 min 80 w/ sissoko & williams(?)
  11. he tracks back as well! i noticed he sprinted 2/3 of the pitch just to cover at one point. he was a great contributor today
  12. don't know how reliable squawka is but their calculations say Jonas had a stinker: http://www.squawka.com/players/jonas-gutierrez
  13. Although United could now name an entire outfield quota of Frenchmen, Pardew will still lean heavily on his home-grown players during the club’s relegation scrap. 15. Doubtful given that he is equally as woeful playing centre back. but williamson let that 1st goal get through his legs for 'le whatever' slide into. i did think it came off his elbow, btw.
  16. would things have been different today if Perch had started for williamson?
  17. too many offsides, too many misplaced 'passes' that made too many 50/50 balls, no hustle to win those 50/50 balls, no vision, no heart, no clue. ...this after a 1st half where i thought we'd stroll to at least a 2-0 win. we did the spineless collapso today...
  18. sure, but what a way to go! he'd never buy himsels another drink anywhere but a few manky pubs in manchester!
  19. would love to see SAF hairdry some linesman & then have the linesman just absolutely blow his top right back at fergie! just scream at him right up into the stands or down the tunnel!
  20. i'm wondering the reason for bringing him on at all then?
  21. granted was a fine effort that hit the post today, but his tracking & overall defending cost us today, imo!
