Our defence for there first goal is so weird. I mean, why is Paqueta allowed so much space and time to make that pass? And if our midfielder is instructed not to press, then no way our defense line were positioned so high its just fucking weird.

Lascelles injury is not Howe’s fault. Howe probably benefits from this injury though, if we can’t win today.

I don’t know why, but you sounds like no one has to be blamed for this, and, most importantly, if such event occurs again, another 50/50 situation (which I don’t agree), everyone involved should act the same and take the gamble again. So what’s the lesson learnt?

His own words: tried his best to avoid surgery to cure the knee but ultimately failed. He knew he hasn’t fully recovered since the October injury. I don’t think that needs to be questioned now, or else he would simply say it’s fucking unfortunate to pick up another knee injury within 1 season. The “clear” sign is obviously wrong.

He has been trying to avoid it, fighting hard for long = which means he knew he is not fully recovered yet.

Howe has admitted that this season he has told a lot of injured players that “I need you to play”. If you don’t think Howe is partly responsible for this then fine. That must not be the most popular opinion anyway. one of my friend just ask me “isn’t this Joelinton case again? Rushing back before fully recovered and suffer another heavy injury. This must be on Howe”. I don’t know how to reply.

To be fair, I do think everyone involved, including Howe and Botman himself, have to be responsible for this. And, I even don’t have the mood to play the blame game. This is fucking disastrous. Originally we just need one more top class CB and our defence for the next few years are kinda sorted. And now we probably need to spend most of our summer budget on TWO new CB. LB / DM / RW / ST …. We need reinforcements but yea now I think we just don’t have the money now. We are really doomed. That’s what I worried most - permanent damage to our squad due to injuries, and it finally comes true.
