  1. Will Liverpool be stubborn though. I am very surprised more teams have not been in for him. The fact that only Arsenal have made a concrete bid have played into Liverpool's hands somewhat. Fair play to the cunt he always seems to give 100% out on the pitch. If its the choice between playing or not playing I can see him sticking with Liverpool. I think he'll cause enough of a fuss the next couple of weeks and Arsenal will increase their bid a bit and get him. The Gomis deal is doing our heads in. I would imagine the Bale, Fabregas, Suarez & Rooney sagas are probably doing the nut in of all clubs involved. Really don't see the game Man Utd are playing with Rooney, he seems a 2nd citizen at Man Utd saying that they are probably awaiting Fabregas or a n other to come in before the sanction a major sale like Rooney.
  2. The problem with us is that we've been stung by these older more experienced players in the past. Someone like Maloney would be different, he would be coming from a relatively small club in the championship. I think he'd be hungry for success. But agree that our board will stay well away.
  3. I hate this idea that anyone over 28 is too old, as some have said Maloney would be a good signing even for only a couple of seasons. I know its totally a different level but Man Utd had no reservations spending a fortune on an older player. I also think that Bent would be a good signing if the fees involved were reasonable. I would love to see Sinclair here but £50,000 a week is very steep for a largely unproven player.

Rape charges are very difficult to prove at the best of times, so with the legal representation that he must have I'd be very surprised if he was convicted. Maybe Ched Evans was thinking the same thing? Lol. It is a concern and another PR disaster waiting to happen, this is my only concern over this transfer.
  5. Can you imagine Shola's face of Bent, Gomis and Remy rock up to the training ground. Maybe he is being converted to a centre half instead of Willo?? Only seen the snippet interview on SSN and the fucker didn't confuse me, must be a plus. Why we can't go after the other position I don't know, hasn't this fucker got a diary and a to do list?
  6. You like? Pictures then!! Some of us are in work.. Pretty please Wow... Hotter than I expected. Move out of the way boys. I've found myself a new Mrs Tisd!
  7. To be fair I think JFK is taking a lot of the flak away for foreign recruitment policy. I am going for a shower now, I kind of praised JFK.. Look at what these transfer saga's are doing to me..
  8. You like? Pictures then!! Some of us are in work.. Pretty please
  9. I wonder how long it will take for the media to criticize us for having a billion million Frenchies in our squad.
  10. Over the line is the new "wide of the mark" This is torture, but still transfer deadline day I'll be there hammering fuck out of F5 to see if we pull something off out of the blue.
  11. My head is spinning with all the title changes.

Won't take Harry's toys to come out of the pram soon. He was kicking off about how long the Hooper transfer was taking the other day. I bet if he walks or is sack for being an unreasonable twat, that the media will be all over him again telling us how such a nice bloke can be messed around so badly. Don't forget it was the QPR players that got them relegated last season, had nothing to do with Redknapp he done the best he could in a shit situation. Plus remember he didn't spend the right money on players, poor bastards could only afford 100K a week for Samba. I have a feeling football will be a better place when Harry crawls under a fucking rock. Just do us a favor and take Mike with you.
  13. We are approaching this fucking line lads and lasses, something may happen??? Awaits to be deflated within approx an hour.
  14. Are we an assassination attempt away from Harchester Utd already?? Just not sure which one to get JFK or Mike.
  15. Amazing news, glad to have some good news. Wrap this guy up in cotton wool. Looks on course to be back for Man City. Can he play upfront?
  16. I nearly type could you imagine this as our next management team, holy crap doesn't bear thinking about. However, the saggy faced one is a better manager than Pardew. OMG11111OMG!!!!! I'm going for a scolding shower - I feel filthy.
  17. This is stuff nightmares are made if. I can't unsee this can I?
  18. There was a journo (Shaun Custis) on SSN this morning who briefly mentioned this. Seemed a bit of a non story he just said watch this space. He did say that Rangers are a bigger global brand than Newcastle so that was Ashley's incentive???
  19. I find it difficult to see how that letter was emotional. To me it seemed a "don't blame me" to the fans. Every seems to fit that if Valdes buggered off from Barca he would have jumped shipped. Liverpool and Rogers haven't done too much wrong here IMO on the face of it.

Yeah seems the better option for us. As I said earlier not overly bothered by the fact he turned us down in January, the biggest question mark is what he has been accused of and will that come back to bite us on the ass?

Maybe I am being naive, but I really don't get why these "smaller" transfers take so long. I can fully understand the huge transfers turning into a saga as there is so much to think about but the ones for Gomis and Remy take so long. We are led to believe that we scout our players well and that these targets have been on the agenda for a while. So I don't understand that a few weeks after the season has ended talk do not begin then. Surely this would benefit the buying and selling club as well as the players. Obviously negotiations can be niggly at times but it's not as if this is the unions sorting out strikes etc. So frustrating. Maybe I am missing something I do not know. Just sign someone FFS...
  22. I'm in two minds over this, part of me thinks pay the extra that Lyon want as it could be the difference between a few league positions and the extra money is them sorted, however, if we do go higher other clubs think they can push for what they want. It's a fine line. Hopefully (lol) we have another target lined up and we can call Lyon's bluff then. But, I am preparing myself for starting the season as Shola being our number 2 striker (oh joy).

    Loïc Remy

I didn't like that he rejected us in the January window, however, they almost doubled his wage no wonder his head was turned. Not sure who pushed for the release clause in his contract whether it was QPR offering it as an extra incentive as if to say "look don't worry you won't have to play Championship football" or his team wanting protection. Either way don't think he can be blamed too much, smacks a bit of a mercenary but understandable where clubs can be c**ts as well as players. If we can pay him what we wanted to pay him originally then I'd be happy with this deal especially if potential court case goes away. Even if he is a money grabber I assume most of us will forget that if he does come here and plays well for us.
  24. They have made some decent looking signings, if they all settle in well I can't see Norwich having any run in with relegation next season.

    Papiss Cissé

The optimist in me is hoping that the club were waiting to resolve this situation before triggering a transfer. A big optimist in me is hoping that Bent was just a contingecy in the event of Cisse going and Remy or a Remy type player without the baggage and Gomis will soon be signed. Or given this is positive news we are going to get about 3 pieces of shit news
