In games like that we need a striker who can hold the ball up for us to take some pressure off us. That's what Ba could do in his pomp for us. Cisse is a goal scorer. In a good team who creates many chances and will only require him to be in the box most of the time he will do well. How many times when the ball came forward to him he lost it last night or miss controlled. I feel really sorry for the lad, he's made to look a mug mainly down to other peoples shitness.

Theres putting in a bid and there taking the p*ss bidding what they know will be thrown out. Wonder what Wenger would say if Moyes bid £15m for Wilshire on Saturday morning(or whatever day they play next) £10 million is a pisstake but not to Wenger and Arsenal. They see us making a profit and it's not as if Cabaye was in blistering form last season. Wenger is obviously starting out low. Can see us accepting £15 million which isn't a huge leap when you consider they upped their bid by £15,000,001 for Suarez Wenger would be tamping if Moyes did that but Wenger doesn't give a shit about us, and he always has been very hypocritical.
-
He is a quality pro and been good for us at times, past his best now but can't blame him for getting picked week in week out. One of the better performers yesterday.
-
Whilst the timing is bad, Arsenal owe us nothing, so if a bid were to coming in it would have been better for has had it been today but the transfer window is open Arsenal haven't broke any rules. Wenger is under his own pressure so why should he give two f**ks about us or Pardew. Can't believe the bullshit about us doing well up to the sending off. We were 3rd place last night completely schooled. Albeit by a quality side but still we were spineless and clueless. We have talented players so the majority of the blame has to be with the manager.
-
Feel sorry for Dumment, league fucking debut to remember, and very little to do with him. Can't wait for the Shola for Ben Arfa sub
-
He's going to blame Wenger isn't he?
-
As soft as the contact was, it was done with intent, he raised his hands and clubbed Aguero across the head. Red everytime. Thick as mince.
-
I wonder if Pardew will bullshit us about Cabaye?

Arsenal's transfer failings are worse than ours at the moment. They have cash in the bank, they have pulling power, they have a massively respected manager, Champions League football and will pay a tidy fee for players. They are a couple of players away from a title push, I will concede those players would come with a hefty fee. It's never been clear who's fault it is? Surely Wenger wouldn't refuse to spend money if he had the cash available to him?

Arsenal make shitter bids than us. I'd be furious with that bid if I was an Arsenal fan. Clearly a good player, clearly we are not going to sell at that price. Maybe the Arsenal board enjoy trolling their fans like ours. Maybe they'll employ George Graham as DOF to get deals over the line shortly?
-
white wee wee Then we realise Jonas starts EVERY game Those players played correctly could give us a Keeganesq roller coaster ride but with better defenders and goal keeper.
-
There were many factors to our shitness last season. Some of which out of Pardew's control, he was just incompetent on handling those issues. Maybe he's learnt from some of his mistakes fro, last season but I am not holding my breath, also, evidence from pre-season suggests otherwise. Even though I have been apathetic towards us this summer the perverse side of me is actually looking forward to the game tonight, that is until approx 10 mins in.
-
That's a blow for them and the lad. Noticed the use of "over the line" in the article when referring to their offer for Ashley Williams Pardewisms are catching on
-
What must be so frustrating for Arsenal fans is that they know Wenger is a good manager as well. Unlike us, even if we did sign the players we wanted we don't really trust Pardew to get the best out of them. Arsenal have replaced players like Fabregas and RVP with poor man's versions, you can't do that with World Class players and hope to be still as a good a team. They are two class players away (Suarez/Rooney & Gustavo) away from a title challenge IMO but because of them standing still Spurs have a very good chance of beating them to 4th.
-
If Arsenal did sign Suarez and Gusatvo I think they would be looking very strong. Also if Vermalen finds form again I thought they would have pushed the top 3 a bit.
-
Most managers especially recently promoted managers are coming out saying playing the league's elite is the reason thus fought so hard to get in the league. Pardew's talks as if we are some minnows that have got here by accident. Once it was clear Pardew was staying I accepted the decision and came around a bit but the more and more shit that comes out of his mouth the more I realise him keeping his job is a disaster for us. We have good players and even with our current squad barring a Cisse injury we should not struggle, however we more than likely will because of the twat who is picking and training that team. Frightens the shit out of me who we'd replace this kent with.
-
That geezer needs to try and support us. Worrying about the lies his club and media are telling imagine when he starts hearing JFK's and Pardew's shit?
-
Maybe if we all say it's true maybe it will really happen. A bit like when Sunderland fans start believing their own lies? It would make sense for both us and Moses. Can't see him getting games for Chelsea this season and a more proven player than Sinclair or Ince. Will never happen with the wanker at our club.

I'm not one to panic but this is fucking stupid now. We are being told we are organised, that we have plans A & B and even C to fall back on but seems even plan A's are fucked. Kinnear was brought in to stop this kind of nonsense. I thought the one positive of him coming in would be at least to see a bit of action on the transfer front but it just seems one fuck up after another. Pardew's been bleeting about a striker for ages now and all we sign is a crock, WTF were they going to do if they couldn't resolve the Cisse situation. As obscene as it has been at time what I would give for a Man City type takeover. Anything over this shower of shit.
-
I am not sure about your question however, the "British Premium" won't go away while you have teams willing to gamble on the huge transfer fees. The shame about it all is that you possibly have talent like Les Ferdinand or Ian Wright in the lower league that may never get the chance at the top because of the fees involved. Rhodes is a quality goalscorer and I believe he would score goals in the Premiership but it would be a massive risk at £8m + Would definitely like to see us look at other markets. I am not sure if I am remembering this correctly but isn't the French league a target because of the cheap fees and similarity of styles of football, I'm sure I read that somewhere. I don't watch French football so couldn't really comment if it is a similar style of play there.
-
I don't think bent would be the worst option in the world right now. Someone has mentioned Jordan Rhodes who has done well in the Championship after being successful in League 1, however, I think he would be too expensive, didn't he cost Blackburn £8m?
-
Luiz has all the attributes to be a top top quality CH. He lacks concentration at time and has taken a while to settle in the Premiership. I think Mourinho will be able to get the best out of him next season, as long as he is not messed around to accommodate Terry.
-
strange goings on at manyoo for me, if i was involved there the one thing i'd have wanted to ensure was a statement of intent that moyes is the new man, a big signing for a canny wedge, but they're making mincemeat of this fabregas stuff and as you say the rooney situation too doesn't bode well imo good Moyes will be under massive pressure anyway, yet there is a strong chance they'll go into next season with no major signing, a disgruntled at best Rooney and their rivals making strides in the transfer market. If Arsenal can pull off the Suarez deal they'll be a big threat as well. This could be a disaster for Man Utd. Would love to see them sweat on CL places, that is a distinct possibility at the moment if Spurs invest the Bale money well, or even if they keep Bale (a happy Bale) and sign some centre halves. If we didn't have clowns looking after our club this would probably be the most excited I've been in a while about the Premiership, because of the fuckwittery going on at our club I',m a little bit meh!!
-
Oh FFS, can we just sack this off and move on to another target? It does sound like he is waiting for Marseille to do something concrete. This is different from the Remy saga in January. Remy's first choice was us, almost doubling his salary turned his head. Sounds like Gomis will be settling for 2nd best if he signs for us. Kinnear (I know I know) has said there are other targets time to start on them then.

We have many technically gifted players at the club Anita is one of those, would love to see what a football playing manager could do with our players. I don't buy that you have up have this dominate ball winning midfielder in your team to win things. Man Utd did well enough last season without one. Yaya at Man City is more of a threat going forward, Arsenal hardly have that physicality in midfield these days. I am not saying a team doesn't need one but it is not essential that you have one if your midfield play as a unit and in the main keep hold of the ball.
