  1. Sold my ticket when i was on holiday. If i'm here and not at deaths door i'll be at the match. He'll only sell if someone meets his asking price.
  2. I'd always still intended going anyway but mentioned the boycott to the bairn and her response was that we'd already bought season tickets if we didn't go it meant Ashley was the winner as he'd took money off us without us getting the service/goods/game we'd paid for. Said we shouldn't let him win and shouldn't let him stop us from doing what we enjoy doing ie going to the match. We've already missed Brighton as we were on holiday (lad at work bought our tickets though) and may well miss Liverpool due to my neices wedding but this will depend on the game being moved for tv. It's about the visual impact though. I know, i get that, but i also think fuck him, he's not stopping me from doing what i want to do which is go to the match. He'll be laughing his stots off at that fact he's had the money and people haven't come. More than if there's been a well advertised boycott and everyone turns up? I very, very much doubt that. I'd even go as far as saying that the idea that Ashley laughs and/or doesn't care what we do is just pure ignorance at this point. This is the man that would only let a boxer from Forest Hall use the club's logo if he stopped saying nasty words about him on Twitter and constantly loses his rag. The only time I've seen him laughing at us is in the stadium where fans have paid him a fortune to chant against him. And then, more tellingly there's this - https://twitter.com/bigchrisholt/status/1058112196302041090 Now that you have a bit more information on it and that it's just one match, would you be more willing to boycott ujpest doza[/member] ? no
  3. People who actually turned up at Shirebrook said there was only 2 security blokes there to cover the whole site, nothing extra or out of the ordinary. Love how Michael Martin claimed the extra security then when people challenged, distanced himself from any of the planning. He's only interested in selling copies of True Faith which has suddenly reappeared in print form in the wake of this magpie group malarky.

I was very surprised Keown didn't highlight it and call it The Reducer on MOTD
  6. Last week we won ugly, this week we were excellent. Good going forward and rock solid and resilient at the back blocking heading and tackling everything. Rondon reminiscent of Big Les in his pomp. The 2nd goal was absolutely sublime.

That ball for the 2nd goal was sublime, goal of the season contender.
  8. I really don't get why there are NUFC fans going to watch this lot in the 3rd division. very sad behaviour.
  9. There was definitely a bit of grumbling and muted booing.

Yedlin got took apart at times today. He's very fast and committed but isn't a very good defender.
  11. Especially considering how many sit in silence for 90 minutes anyway.
  12. Exactly, and the concencus of opinion was that he might not look great but we always seemed to win and play better when he played and scored.
  13. Disgrace i thought. Seemed to begin in the Gallowgate and then the Watford players all started clapping anarl. I'm as deaf as a post but even i heard over the tannoy that it was a minutes silence.

He won't be laughing his socks off when Sky stop putting us on TV I thought we were on tv a lot because of the viewing figures though, and if more stay at home and watch on tv the viewing figures therefore go up and we're on even more.
  15. I never saw anyone handing out flyers but the people next to me and in front had them. I noticed it said to hold them up on 11 minutes when i had a look at it at half time but can't remember anyone actually doing so.

  19. Deffo a straight red as should have been the stamp on Yedlin that caused the flare up before it. Not convinced Pereyra actually connected with Yedlin at all Certainly didn't mean it if he did Intent was there like, I think he just missed. Cracking player though. So is their number 16 who was excellent.
  20. Deffo a straight red as should have been the stamp on Yedlin that caused the flare up before it. Not convinced Pereyra actually connected with Yedlin at all Certainly didn't mean it if he did I've not seen a replay so i don't know, but it looked like he did and the players all thought he did as well.
  21. Really? I thoroughly enjoyed it, atmosphere was much better and we worked our stots off. Was a canny entertaining end to end game at times.
  22. Rondon is a massive unit mind and i think he'd have been hooked after an hour if we had any subs left to use as he' nowhere near fit, 90 minutes under his belt may help mind.
