Well worth a try imo.

We are still playing well in patches, unfortunately the rest of it's heart in mouth stuff.

Can see the confidence draining out of them like incontinent grannies leaking fluids.

Was just about to post that they're getting too much freedom wide and we're relying on too many long balls again. **sigh**

Steve Bennet clearly on our side..

Hope Woodgate has a bad day...

Starting to brick it a bit now..

Pays for himself if they go up I suppose.

But Ronaldo is a cheat, and quite slimy with it. Can't step up when the going gets tough and is prone to sulks in such circumstances. Henry is petulant and overly arrogant. So I guess allied to character Henry actually edges it.

If he stays in England long enough, and develops of course, you can add another country to that list.

And the reason was (shamelessly stolen from .com) .... PS: The BBC reported that Kazenga LuaLua had received a first call-up by DR Congo for their two friendly matches this week. It was thought that the 17 year-old could make his bow either against Gabon in Creteil on Tuesday, or 24 hours later when DR Congo moved on to Paris to face Algeria. However it's now been confirmed that LuaLua didn't responded to the call-up and remained on Tyneside.

The guy might understand commerce but falls badly down on understanding football. Crass.

Good luck to the lad, er.. 26 year old.

Missed it, there's a repeat tomorrow isn't there?

Very cooly taken, touch of class there.

Do you mean Jeff Vetere who is now our Technical Co-ordinator, he is English and was working for Real Madrid. Andrew Burgess said. "Mention the name of any footballer and he will tell you who he has played for, how many goals he has scored and even what size boots he wears." Yes, that's him. Just found the original article. I remembered reading he had links with Luton Town and was wondering if that was the connection here. Doubtful though as he was just an apprentice at Luton. http://football.guardian.co.uk/News_Story/0,,2249017,00.html He ended up as manager of Luton, a bit more than an apprentice. Not Fucillo, Vetere.

(Check out Dennis Wise in the picture, he's a dwarf! And who is it standing far right?) http://i29.tinypic.com/wtdg5w.jpg

There is no gap between the two places, driving from one to the other it is all residential/built up. The M1 basically splits them. Unless you were particularly paying attention you wouldn't know where you left one and entered the other.

Who was that guy we were vaguely linked with, before Xmas I think, who supposedly had an encyclopedic knowledge of footballers. British guy, working for Barcelona iirc

I voted for Shay. Come to the conclusion he's the one consistent factor in all the clubs woes and has to go.
