Their forms even worse then ours.
-
If we were only 6 points off relegation and fourth or fifth bottom then I'd be worried. As it is every team below us would have to have a good run in to relegate us, and a lot of them have to play each other.
-
Newcastle United had never been relegated before from the Premier League the season we went down.. useless statistic tbh. Yeah they're exactly the same kind of stats aren't they?
-
No team above 14th at this stage of the season has ever been relegated from the Premier League, we're safe.

what else could be done squads at the bare bones You mean what else could be done to solve the problem of missing our right sided midfielder other then put a centre back at right back and a right back at right midfield?? How about put just about anyone at right midfield and leave the fucking defence as it is? Why put two people out of position when you can just put one out of position? Its not like Simpson is better at right midfield then anyone else.

What the fuck was Taylor doing for the goal?, who was he marking?

Eh? so he snubbed chelsea? does that mean nufc didnt? WHere was that quoted from? Saw it from BBC gossip, but entire article - 'http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1361098/Newcastle-star-Cheik-Tiote-happy-snubbed-Chelsea.html' absolutely nought in there regards to Chelsea mind, odd nonetheless. he snubbed chelsea? does that mean nufc didnt? My point exactly.

Yep, didn't the referee have a word with Barton when he punched that player in the stomach?, the FA still acted afterwards and banned him. Just another example of them using the rules to best suit their agenda.
-
He's played a few good games (don't remember him doing much against Everton like) and more average to poor games. I suppose I was too harsh to say as poor as ever though, obviously he's not always poor.
-
Routledge might not have gotten sent off, but in all likelihood he'd have been as poor as ever if he'd played.
-
People still give two shits about Danny Guthrie?

Then I guess you haven't seen him play when he was in NUFC? Leeds sold Ferdinand with a smile on their faces because they knew Woody was better. Too bad he's crippled. He would have kept either Ferdinand or Terry out of the national team. They knew Woody was better yet sold him 6 months after Ferdinand for a third of the price. You do talk some complete drivel don't you? Yes, at the time (broadly) Woodgate was as good if not better than Ferdinand. It's not difficult. You talk like an experienced campaigner whose omnipresence allows him to see every match everywhere. In actual fact, you were about 10 when the bloke in your avatar was creating havoc across Europe. You aren't as well informed as you would like to think you are sunshine. His comparison of the fees as evidence of who was the better defender is dodgy for a few reasons. Firstly Woodgate came through the youth system, while Ferdinand cost Leeds £18m (of course they're going to turn down £20m, that's only a £2m profit). Secondly Woodgate was injury prone even back then. Finally Leeds were totally in the shit financially by the time they sold Woodgate. Ferdinand is a better Footballer, but Woodgate was the better defender IMO.

Aye, this seems to have been largely ignored. They play some decent stuff at times - a neat series of passes between three or four of their players up their left sideline sticks out in particular as being representative of that. Some of the disappointment of another draw has subsided (especially when a NUFC win looked so comfortably achievable at spells during the first half) I feel less aggrieved because Bolton are a good side. Not as good us, but a good side. Based on what exactly? Our domination of them in the first half is a good starter. (If you quote me the 5-1 reverse fixture, we had Smith/Guthrie that day). first half ? they looked the most lkely in the last 10 of the first half.....that equaliser wan't against the run of play. That's exactly what it was.

Surely that's good news when it comes to the £10m Cole story? Anyway goal is just quoting different papers, the Mirror for the Cole story and the Mail for the Perroti story.
-
What? Just not sure why you're so excited by that

Should have stuck with sunshine. I'm only saying there's no point in attaching value to anything said about this stuff. I should have, since you're talking shite. Nobody said anything is negotiated in the press. What's being suggested is that it might not really be a good idea to keep saying "We have £35m and we'll spend it all in the summer", its not just the fans of NUFC who read those comments. Dude. It literally doesn't matter who reads those comments. Clubs don't give a faint whiff of a damn about what Pardew may or may not blather on about (in regards to this clearly; individual players are another story). They know we've got 35m. Nothing else matters; they'll move the price based on that, not whether or not he says we are buying/we aren't buying, Ok, I don't agree though, who knows what Pardew and the club in general think either.
-
"I said to Mike: 'Look, this money has to be reinvested in the team. All of it,'" Still don't know why people don't get it - we won't spend £35M on players in the next transfer window. 'The Carroll money' will be spent on transfer fees, sign on fees and wage... In that case Carroll's wages should be included as well.

Should have stuck with sunshine. I'm only saying there's no point in attaching value to anything said about this stuff. I should have, but I'm a 2.0 poster. Nobody said anything is negotiated in the press. Just think you're spending too much time reading things into every comment in the papers. Do you think Pardew even has the power to decide the clubs transfer policy? He'll maybe get asked "Would you like N'Zogbia" and he'll say yes obviously..
-
That deal would keep him here until June 2014, which is three months shy of his 32nd birthday.
-
Nicely confirms the N'Zogbia 'bids' weren't sincere then. You're getting worse Dave
