  1. RIP to all, and condolences to family, friends and fans. Wish I'd known more about his and his family's good deeds prior to his passing.
  2. Late sub for the USMNT tonight. Totally fails to track back with his mark. Easy equalizer scored by same. Kid who moved to the national team structure from a St. Louis youth club scored the USMNT goal, so there's that at least.
  3. So my Corinthians/Senna jersey arrived today and it is absolutely stunning. Ordered from this seller in Brazil. He doesn't have any listed right now, but might be worth contacting to see if he can get more as his communication was great and shipping was quick. One of the top drunk E-Bay purchases I've made.
  4. Can't imagine how many brain cells would be killed by listening to those weapons-grade morons. Would rather do mine in via booze or beating my forehead against a granite wall - much more humane.
  5. Pogba brace, whoever Mo hates second most will be good for one. 3-0, and that result will flatter how shite we are.
  6. May try to pick that up, assuming they have tubby middle-aged American sizes. In addition to being gorgeous, I loved the way he drove. I quit F1 after his needless death. Still pisses me off. ETA: Ordered off of E-Bay since the Corinthians store won't ship to the U.S. as far as I can tell. Will update if it's shite or a ripoff, but DAMN, this pushes a lot of my kit-buying buttons: (1) Gorgeous; (2) Meaningful; and (3) Tubby Middle-Aged sizes.
  7. In the words of another forum I frequent - this post lands at random: https://www.newcastle-online.org/forum/index.php?topic=98138.0
  8. 55. GFY. Doubt I'll remember what the internet is.
  9. His balance is insane, never looks like going down even at those flying speeds he achieves. Really impressive player both physically & technically. When they replayed that in slo-mo, it was truly incredible. Unbelievable balance and at speed.
  10. That's just dumb. Indeed. I did preface it with "Lalas said" so that should have been a clue . . . .
  11. FWIW, Lalas just said that VAR "worked perfectly" and the defender should have jumped with his hands behind his back if he didn't want to risk being called for a penalty.

Absolutely not. I had a lush head of thick hair at 7pm... WarrenBartonSidePartin

    Sunderland

Spent much longer than I'd ever admit yesterday trying to find the release date (didn't find it).
  14. Aye, it was so refreshing to see him dive without the telenovela-histrionics.
  15. Moved an all-day on-site with a client from Tuesday to Friday when I realized! #Planning
  16. Voted 5 because neither of the "explanations" on 1 or 10 made any fucking sense to me.
  17. Love him because he's the spitting twin of one of my favorite people who also happens to own one of my favorite breweries in town. Also, love a quick person with stubby legs, as a 6'3" person with a 32" inseam.
  18. I had a soft spot for Inverness Caledonian Thistle after they upset Celtic in the Scottish Cup a decade or so ago and ordered a kit. Got an XXXXL (normally wear an XL or at worst XXL in Nike and Adidas) on advice of the Club shop and it was still only barely not too fucking tight to wear in public. Think I wore it oot and aboot once. It also pilled like crazy and was like being wrapped in Saran wrap. Hope they've gotten their shite together, but they used to be crazy stingy on the fabric, and that was when kits weren't skin-tight on the pros.
  19. One of the few things the U.S. does right on this issue is creating mandated reporters - people in positions of likely trust with kids - doctors, nurses, teachers, social workers, coaches - who are required by law to report allegations of child abuse, including sexual abuse, to the governmental agencies that are (theoretically) trained to investigate those situations. Obviously, the system is far from perfect, but it's a step in the right direction because it removes the "do I report or not" option - be found to have failed to report, and lose your professional license. My wife and I (both of us are mandated reporters due to our jobs) were in the awkward situation of having to hotline our son's girlfriend's family a couple of years ago after she came to us with allegations of physical and mental abuse by her parents.
  20. Apart from when he's a diving/whinging c*nt, I love me some Marcelo. Such schweet crosses.
