just been on a couple of the Villa boards and three opinions were dominant: 1) O neill is likely to rest a few players tonight and bring on the fringe players (reo coker or Sidwell?) 2) If they score first it will play well into their system, sit back and counter attack with pace... 3) They think they can rough our defence up (quite probable TBF) Point 2 is what worries me, they are very good at that!

I agree with Brummie, they have bags of pace and a target man who can actually play football. They will be loving it if we come out and pussh up the pitch, with the amount of mistake swe make I reckon they will be set up for the counter attack. I wouldn't have the defence too high up the field today. I'd also make sure bassong is in to tackle the pace of abhonlahor (whatever his name is).

He's a bit spindly, as far as the trainspotters who go to reserve games, reckon. Couple of years and he'll blow the premiership apart

NOTE: I would take Enrique out of the starting line up as both young and Abhonlagor are very quick and like to outpace defenders, bassong may not be great but he has bags of pace... I thought we were lucky to hold on last night. Our second half performance was very disjointed and we couldn't get up a head of steam. The first twenty minutes were very good and we should have had another one or two if luck was on our side. One thing I did notice last night was that the crossing of the ball was woefull, we had at least three occasions when an "easy" cross or pass was needed after a player had done the difficult bit and got into their box, they really need to lift their heads to see where other players are... Defence seemed pretty good to me apart from Colo's stumble.

Just saw that aswell (independant) and Micheal Walker is quite well informed about us... I wouldn't mind TBH, he has been making mistakes lately and hasn't really had the best of seasons so far. A rest would do him good.

Just been reading another thread of their's (which pub...) and they also have a "Mackem Wullie". I could only come to the conclusions: Wullie is a schyzophrenic, his other persona is a mackem or we really do live in a parallel universe (wullie's is a bit warped tho')!!
