Yesterday was Miley's BEST Game for us, loved his covering space, passing and was much more positive on the ball! elanga played well too, about time! The defence was immaculate and Thiaws goals were well taken. One things I want to point out, but not detract from the performance, was that Everton's defence was the worst I have seen in while, they really are pedestrian. I wonder why Botman isnt getting a Game ? He had a great partnership going with Thiaw but doesn't seemnto be getting a look in (Dan playing well but thought rotation would have given him a chance).

We have been poor this season, It is true. A lot of our players look worse than previously; Bruno, gordon, willock, Joe, Murphy, pope 2 of Our signings have had a bad start (Wissa & elanga). It all adds up

Aye, he looks the Best of the forward three by miles, much better than elanga for a similar price. Sesko looks pish, and Cunha hasn't really got going.

If we have Murphy and hall as wingbacks I would not be too un Happy: Pope Thiaw. Botman. Burn Murphy. Tonali- Hall Bruno. Joe. Barnes Woltemade

I would sell Osula, go for a n°10 type Who can also play on right. A right back and a right side central midfielder

Richarlison puts a lot of effort in but he is not a top ten side striker.

Thought everything Barnes did last might was focused and dangerous to the opposition, didn't put a foot wrong the time he was on the pitch, surprised he was subbed, would have been MOM for me

I was in the leazes end last might with my brother, first time in a while. The atmosphere was the flattest I have Heard at an important game like that. Seemed like everyone was scared to sing or shout or anything, really dissapointing! Lot of old folk around and not many youngins probably doesn't help

Really poor. Their goals came from our slack build up play, and we have looked tripe since then...

We have a great manager, needs the Best in class management team around him. With that and a little bit of luck here and there we should be a permanent top 5 give club within 3-5 years. Only problem I see in the short term is our wage structure, losing players and innability to attract top players

As we play Manu on boxing day we Will be without Wissa and they wont have mbuemo, diallo and mahruazi

No way we would drop Botman for Burn if all defenders fit, his passing range and speed are two facets we have lacked. I haven't seen these bad plays others are seeing, BDB is also a great centre back but we should realistically be playing Burn and schar for some games and botman/chiaw for others. I would go for the Botman chiaw combo for champs league and fast orem league teams. Other two for slower strikers and cups

Honestly, we were without Up and running strikers for the first few games, concussions and red cards for some of our key players, add a few injuries in there and you can see why we are 4-6 points off where we should be. I still think we need to change to includes a n°10 for the mid table teams and below, we are awful at breaking down low block teams. Perhaps wolte in that role when Wissa gets fit?

Thought his passing was very loose today, made a couple which were intercepted close to goal, could have had worse consequences! He seems to be trying more now, but still on the fenced about him. Hopefully he develops better

I think this is perspective (I don´t completely disagree)... I always seem to think that Miley´s tempo perhaps slows our attacks down, he seems to lack the confidence to continue pushing up the pitch with well placed, and sometimes risky, passing. I don´t know if this is what he has been told to do (keep it safe) or if he is still playing within himself (not fully confident). When the team plays well it is when we are at full tilt and zipping connections and first time passes to go through the lines, I often have in the back of my mind that Miley would be much better suited to a Man City total football possession style, a slightly slower much more focused passing game. Anyway, liked him a lot last night, seemed like somebody had taken the "safety catch" off.

Very mature and organised performance from us. They didn´t look a threat except for a few moments when Lukebakio seemed to have magic wands for feet, every time he took a shot it looked like they were going to score (1st half), Dan B took control of him in the second half. Defence was very solid, Botman and Thiaw look stunning, never put a foot wrong and are immense when we start the high press. Trips was good again on the ball and BDB was immense in the air and got up the pitch quite a bit last night, impresses every game even though he has his limits (creativity/speed). Midfield; Bruno was great last night, Miley had his best game for us in my opinion, did everything right in a kind of sweeper position in front of the defense, got too close to bruno looking for spaces in the 1st half but sorted it out well. Ramsey looks a talent, seems a bit rusty but hwat is to be expected. When big Joe came on the aggression we lacked ratcheeted up and easily secured the game. Joe willock looked a bit lost tbh... The cream: Gordon, Woltemade, Murph, Barnes and Elanga.... what can you say, best night from our forward line! Gordon was immense in everything, Woltemade seemed to have taken speed, his pressing was great last night and he seemed to have gained a yard of pace, murphy for the first goal was spot on and had a few other half chances. bring on Barnes to finish them off and he did it with aplomb!! Elanga made sure they didn´t venture too far out their own half at the end. Top night, top performance! P.S. Pope had a 10/10 (Royal pardon for the couple of clearances)

Barnes has been very good, kept play stitched together and had a couple of chances and good passes. Elanga has the beating of the full back all day and he is on a card... Joe Linton ok and Bruno ok. Tonali- as per... Tripps has me worries for his pack of pace and having to stand off his man and give him yardas... We need woltemade Up front, Gordon has just pressed and done nowt else but miss a sitter. 15 mins of mental pressing and intensity and then bring wolte on for barnes, Gordon to overlap on the left. And maybe Botman for Burn if he is knackered

I think Manu tried hard, but again that set-up just leaves them open to total midfield domination, where most contested balls end up at the feet of the other team. The players do not fit the system, and that system seems like It is meant for a struggling low level team (541) rather than a supposed top 6 challenger. It is too easy for other teams to dominate. As a plus point, I thought Sesko looked really good, strong on the ball, good awareness, ran the channels well and worked hard, just didn't Get any helo form his teamates tbh. Can see Amorim sacked before christmas and mid table meh this year.
