Colback and meid are getting in each others way a lot, too similar and in same position. Armstrong has looked very lively. Sammy has made far toooo manay mistakes in that half. Riviere has surprised me after all the comments about him on here, has really been up for it, hangeland is a good defender aswell.. Taylor too loose with his passes at the back, dummet looked solid and decent going forward. Colo gets beaten in the air too much but anything on the ground he reads great. That flick aswell...wow

Nice to see him play again. couple of nice moments. carried out his defensive stuff alright... What the hell are we stuck with? depression...
-
well not even an upgrade, I'd accept anything as long as it speak properly...

But, it's great to see how far they have fallen and to enjoy it while it lasts. Fat boy! I don't know if you noticed, but the board at Manu (yes, football teams have these) quickly got shot of the manager who didn't perform adequately and replaced him with an upgrade... Any chance of some similar logic being applied?

Agree with above... can someone inform Pardle/Ashley that there is a six foot four defensive machine playing football about 150 miles north of SJP available at a decent price?

I would amplify the filter to "any cahnt" " " " " ditto

Have posted this in ben arfa fred too, just cors ah hate that caaarnt... aaaarrrrggg! http://www.themag.co.uk/the-mag-articles/hatem-ben-arfa-lawyer-reveals-fight-new-newcastle-moves-force/ Don't know if this has been posted earlier but it galls me to hear about his fight to even just get to train with the first team. I really do hate Pardle, jeez... imagine we had a manager who had a modicum of intelligence, who could speak and plan like this about a maverick player, http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/liverpool/11065619/Brendan-Rodgers-ready-for-the-Mario-Balotelli-circus-as-he-vows-to-bring-out-the-best-in-maverick-Italian.html who was capable of constructing sentences without "fret", "Hatam", "carnt compete wiv (add team)" and other senseless bile he spouts. Doesn't Ashley have the intelligence to see that he would get much more bang for his buck with: a manager who played attractive football, attracted more sponsorship, fans and interest in the club (and his SD brand) who spoke eloquently and portrayed a more sophisticated image of the club... I feel sick!

Not that confident in Alderweild being our solution, from what I've seen of him in Atletico he seems too weak fro the prem and he is not pacy contrary to what some think... would much rather have the celtic player; he's bigger is already ised to the rough and tumble of the SPL and scores a few set piece goals and at 8 million seems a snip...

Yes, Bielsa is a raving madman, but he gets his teams playing decent football and he's not afraid to make big decisions. In Bilbao the fans were completely split when he left (I personally thought he was great, I like the fact he didn't take any shit from the primma donnas in the team), it turned out well as Valverde is a great manager to take what Bielsa had started and to refine it slightly.

Don't know if it's already been posted here, but the Tottenham purchase of Fazio (central defender) from Seville (I think) is a great transfer. He really is class and a leader, he's hard in the tackle, reasonably fast and can pass the ball, reminds me of a younger Vidic. He will transform spurs' defence...

Praise when praise is due!

He's put out a strong team at least...

Don't know what Micah is like any more since he hasn't played for a few years, but sinclair is a decent winger who works hard also (pardle will like)

Sissoko was crap, for the sixe of the bloke he is weak as muck on the ball ...phhh! Liked colback, remy, aarons, riviere. Thought defence loojed shaky all way through, dummet is frickin secon division at best for fricks sake... Riviere did whjat he could byut Krul's preference to thinp it long di us no good. Painful to watch to be honest. Masn city strolled it. Apathetic about how anyone on this whole friggin board can back the wide boy fraud that manages our team. Fell sick. Rant over!

Fukc it! let's go all out mental attack: ----------------------Krul-------------------- -------Stevie--------Willo----------Colo----- Obertan------Anita------Colback------Remy ----------Sissoko------Ferrerya----------------- -----------------Riviere---------------

I don't think Lascelles can be recalled from loan this year, so that'd rule him out. And the 'Pou at LB? Have you no mercy? Actually think he has played his best football for us at left back, as centre back he looks far too lightweight, specially in the air...
-
my starting XI: -------------------Krul-------------------- Janmaat----Willo-------Colo--------MYM ------------Sissoko-----Anita---------- -Cabella---------De Jong---------Aarons -------------Riviere---------------- Pardle's: ---------------Krul------------------- Janmaat----Willo --Colo-----Haidara -----------Tiote----Colback---------- Sissoko--------De Jong-------Cabella ------------Riviere--------------- *My only complaint is for us not to have signed a decent CB, think his thinking is that Curtis Good and Lascelles will do as back up...
-
The competition between Haidara and Santon might just raise both of their games a little and provide us with adequate cover. I have always complained about Santon's lack of interest in tracking back and covering ground after forays up the field, Haidara at least puts the effort in...
-
No thanks, have seen him play over here a few times and he is very lightweight and slow as you like. Kept my eye on him following rumours we were interested over the years. Step down from anyone on books...

I've started looking over my shoulder while walking down the street, and I'm only a part time poster at best... The fat bloke with cross eyes was the worst, could've been spying on me and a whole host of others tbh. Scared!

I agree on anita passing the ball well but sissoko does make surging runs and has ability to hold off defensive midfielders. Either or...
