  1. Why does kulusevski get to foul in the box?
  2. Newcastle, United, will never be defeated!!!
  3. Dolphin is a toon pub on match days - there will be fans there to watch on telly so you’ll be well received. It’s a nice (but long) walk to Highbury II - be warned that tube journey is usual full of “gooners” who think shaking tube carriages is good chat.
  4. Depends if their luck holds - wolves should well have been level before forest’s second. One incredible save, one off line, one miss from point blank range… reminding me a bit of the Leicester run when everything broke their way.
  5. I for one can’t wait to see what Ange thinks of that
  6. Yessssss had a snide of this with 6 Khedira that I got in Phuket. About a decade’s service before the badge fell off.
  7. This way he gets to make another archery-themed comment about Salah
  8. Nothing like Joeliton’s. Ours wasn’t a handball, this one blatantly was.
  9. They truly plumb new depths every season. Unfathomably bad decision at first.
  10. Despise them but Arsenal were hard done by, that’s not a penalty.
  11. At the end of the day, cheers for the 6 points you shrimp-cooking, stump-waving, croc-baiting weirdo.
  12. He also wears his socks down when playing well tbh
  13. They’re rubbish, he’d easily be one of their best players, and a lot of money for an academy product who probably doesn’t see staying there as tenable in the long-term. I don’t think miggy would agree tbh.
  14. I have to say I don’t think the Gordon incident was a penalty. The Botman one shows inconsistency, I agree. You are right to say that Spurs can get bent if they think the officiating was biased in our favour yesterday. If I were a spurs fan, my bigger question would be why does my club have the lowest wages-to-turnover ratio (47%)? To my mind, it’s quite obvious that Levy operates them mainly as a money-making machine for ownership, and competitiveness is very much a second-tier objective. Pochettino wasn’t backed when he’d earned the right to be, Mourinho was an insane hire, and they’ve actually not spent very well since they had their amazing period under Pochettino. For some reason the spurs fans don’t seem to turn on ownership, but their ownership has led them to mid-table.
  15. It will go ahead. The favoured salivating Asian and American export markets demand it.
  16. Is it not just fans collectively pissy at cumulative bad decisions? I’m pretty confident if spurs scored in the same circumstances as our opener, we’d be livid. It’s the nature of the sport - some decisions are open to interpretation. It’s not a leap of logic to suggest that the ball hitting his hand played a key role in the equaliser. In the broader sense I accept we have more “conspiracy points” in the bank as a non-cartel club, but we’re acting like spurs fans are cretins and moral retards when actually their team is going through a very difficult patch and played well enough yesterday, despite many factors against them, to earn a point at least. Postecoglou doesn’t help because his “world against us” schtick isn’t convincing, and it’s clear that his words and actions aren’t aligned (all easy breezy here mate at start of game and spitting wild nonsense after it). But I’d not laugh at them for conspiracy chat; we are as self-indulgent as any other club in this regard. To be clear I don’t like Spurs and found yesterday’s proceedings deliciously amusing.
  17. Lots of people on this forum think there is a long-standing conspiracy against Newcastle.
  18. It’s OK to credit the opposition when they play well (especially in their context). Trying to be as objective as possible, if I was a spurs fan I would feel hard done by.
