  1. They work so tirelessly, so consistently. Remind me of a Ferguson Man Utd team.
  2. Two of the few teams worth watching. League is egregious this year. Absolutley abhorrent bar Arsenal, Everton, Citeh and Liverpool. Chelsea could be good but don't seem interested in 2+ victories with Mourinho.
  3. Some thoughts not having watched the game 1) 2) Feel like a mug for not betting on nils apiece 3) whoever chose this for televising is getting fi-ired
  4. Trixie: Swansea -1, Under 2.5 in Spurs game, Chelsea
  5. Had a treble on Villareal, Legia Warsaw and Real Sociedad. First two have come through, and I've now posted on the forum. Should probably put a small hedge on.
  6. How you feeling about Spurs this season Leffe? Seemed to struggle to break down sides last season, and didn't look especially slick moving the ball about. Expecting Spurs to be a bit more dangerous in open play - or not really?
  7. £130 up from the opening weekend. 15 on Arsenal.
  8. GW2: Aston Villa 0-1 Newcastle Chelsea 3-0 Leicester Crystal Palace 1-1 West Ham Southampton 0-0 West Brom Swansea 2-0 Burnley Everton 0-1 Arsenal Hull 1-2 Stoke Tottenham 1-0 QPR Sunderland 1-0 Man Utd Man City 2-1 Liverpool
  9. .com mentioned a feel good factor at St James Park after the game - after 1 win in 9 - if that's true...
  10. That Chelsea XI is sensational on paper. Ducking hell.
  11. Really wanted Schurrle. Balls. Snip at 7.5. Here's hoping for a Costa hattrick.
  12. Mackems 4/1 at home to Man Utd next weekend. Good value that - and their 1-0 specialty is 14/1.

    Remy Cabella

So does a newborn baby. Let's give him some more realistic targets first man! Like what? We're only going to have him for a season and a half. By the time he learns to properly cross, he's either going to be Pardewed or off to Chelsea. He is our only hope now without HBA Gillespie / Solano He's 24. If he can't cross (which I won't discount on the basis of one showing of him), he ought to learn soon lest he go down the route of Jonas! Promising start I agree. Liked his skill when he drew the foul from Demichelis.
  14. The spine is so insanely soft without Tiote. Like pissing water. When Newcastle aren't facing the Champions elect (ie. and the whole team isn't geared around not conceding, and there is an actual impetus/expectation for Newcastle to attack rather than just frustrate the opposition), I think Tiote's absence will shine a glaring light on that. He's clearly not everything you want from a central midfield player but he has more responsibility/duties foisted on him than he ought to because he hasn't a decent partner since Cabaye to do the dirty work, and he's usually had an average of three ticking time bombs in the back-line too. We'll see anyway.

  16. He was alright in a big game. Surprised how much of a talking up he's getting. He'll look as average as he is against Villa. Cabella was the highlight, and but he's got a good month or two more before he's Pardew'd, burnt out and asked to concentrate on helping his full-back. Oh, and be a match-winner up the other end.
  17. Is there refuse flying about the pitch? NUFC's transformation into Sunderland is almost complete.
