  1. Would love to see a side-by-side of Moussa in that infamous kit shot for us this season against his Spurs version
  2. Rashford - 8 shots, 3 goals Ibrahimovic - 28 shots, 4 goals http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/top-scorers
  3. With regards to application in match situations, rather than raw commitment. I've always advocated Mitrovic being on the teamsheet for what he brings in terms of commitment, but I don't think he's playing near where he's capable of. He needs to temper that infectious passion with some proper decision making and composure and some time on the bench will hopefully make him realise there's more to being a top footballer than what he's doing at the moment. Being on the team sheet every week with no competition for his place with as young as he is and the obvious faults he has was probably not right for him (PL last year), and he doesn't seem to have the ability to carry the increasing arrogance it would bring. TLDR; Don't get me wrong I'm a big Mitrovic fan, I just think he needs some time out for some self reflection. In Rafa I trust.
  4. He needs this period of being 2nd choice, could be the kick up the arse he needs.
  5. By a country mile imo. On his day, there's no English player like him. Haven't seen an English player so naturally adept at reading the offensive game and popping out an un-telegraphed perfect direct pass since Hoddle. If he keeps this up he'd be a shoe-in for England, could be just the man in the middle to set the pacey forwards away.
  6. Some people think football is so simple nowadays you just need a winger and big guy upfront in a 442 and that will get you results. If it's that simple why don't all teams and managers do it.... Reason is its actually far easier to defend against that now. Goes in cycles really, as attackers get pacier and shorter, then so do defenders, to the point where a 6'3 target man becomes unplayable, and the circle continues.. imo anyway.

Nayim, from the half way line.. Nayim, from the half way line.. That's the first thing that comes to mind with Seaman, with that and Ronaldinho's free kick, he's been spectacularly lobbed at least twice.

Vardy's goals to minutes ratio of the preceding season to the finals for England was better than twice as good as Kane's, must clinical striker we had at international level. Woy's an idiot. That said, if all the team can do is run fast and doesn't have any brains, it's no wonder we can't score any goals vs teams that sit behind the ball.

  10. Couldn't agree more. I'd swap Rafa to be me dad, and Keegan to be my mad uncle. It's getting a bit RAWK in here, HawK. Well don't just stand there and gawk.

  12. I always wondered that. I had a Strfan in a FIFA pack and they look really similar. He isnt related to Stefan.I am from Serbia,Mitrovic is often used surname same as Smith in England...and that is only similarity between our best striker and idiot defender who almoust cost us victory against Austria last night

Should just do away with qualifiers altogether tbh, places awarded based on previous tournament result, and separate tiers of tournaments for different tiers of nations.
  14. Was looking at their scorers to see where he sat with his single goal in the grand scheme of things, and found this nugget of a player name with 2 goals - Jordy Hiwula-Mayifuila. What a name
  15. Just don't think Rafa fancies him. Be interesting when Murphy is fully fit. I'd hope that Rafa's got a better eye for a player than preferring Murphy to Mitrovic tbh. We look so much better as a team every time he's on the pitch and it's no coincidence, his positional sense is generally excellent which makes up a bit for his arthritic lack of pace. This is why he always seems to get so much of the ball when he comes on, always open for a good pass in the final third. Really needs to work on his finishing though.

I'm 32 and me and missus put away £10 a month to spend on token gifts for each other once a year. Does this count?

Michael Keane: England call up Burnley defender following Glen Johnson injury http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37549507 Lascelles can't be too far behind then?
  19. Get in. Rafa's probably behind that too tbh. The amount of appearances Rafa seems to be putting in around the city is great.
