  1. Make or break for ASM this season. Needs goals and assists or needs to play for the team. And I'm one of his biggest supporters.
  2. I think they've been stuck in a cobra meeting for ther past 70 minutes to decide whether they want to officially associate themselves with this broadcast
  3. Jigsaw desperately trying to change his nickname to Chopper.
  4. This is why ASM doesn't pass much, for those that like to complain.
  5. Billy's been showing for the ball 45 minutes straight in space with his palms up.
  6. Shelvey severely limits how we play. Absolutely nothing going through the middle with him on the pitch and trying to play a 60yard ball every time. Willock and Anderson may as well not be on the pitch.
  7. Wilson not taking kindly to a sliding tackle in a friendly. Was a good tackle, mind.
  8. The chap desperately needs a pundit alongside him to stop his mouth-words coming out
  9. ASM bundled over, commentators 'bit of concern on the Newcastle bench', cuts to Almiron, Fraser, Bruno and Joelinton corpsing
  10. Anderson wearing the no. of one of my favourite ever players Robert.. no pressure lad!
  11. Can't stop smiling whenever I see Targett before a match starts, looks like he's won a competition
  12. Actually, Everton's recruitment pattern was quite similar to Leeds' when they overstretched. I remember the £7m odd they paid for Seth freakin' Johnson, a player they really didn't need at all
  13. Just taking the Everton point - I think they were more victims of poor scouting and overpaying for average players, Michael Keane being a prime example. I recall vividly they were the first club to start offering 'the big sums' that we see today after the inception of the new TV deal at the time, and got lots of business done early in the summer window. They thought they'd get out there quick and snap up these prime targets and pay what they thought would be too good for the selling clubs to turn down, but would shortly become the normal, and in the long-run look like good deals. Except no-one really went ham like they did and they've been left to count their pennies.
