Kinnear did far worse and wasn't sacked for it.

We don't and quite honestly not bothered if we go down, I would love to see us have the passion like Leicester etc they may be constantly up and down and a bit s*** but better than constantly aiming for mid table. The championship seems a more fun league anyway and im fed up of us just meandering along not really doing much. If we went down, shed all of our s*** and started using youth I would get 1000% more enjoyment than the last few years. Really can't disagree with that, if we've been told we're actively never going to try to win anything again, that what's left? Being a yo-yo club, like the makems might actually be somewhat appealing, at least once in a while you get to hammer everyone for a season Except it won't be like that this time around. No it probably wouldn't, but would add a bit more excitement, lets be honest this is just f***ing boring at the moment and nobody can identify with any of the players or style Being Leeds and floating around in the lower leagues is the definition of boring and that will be us if we go down this time. Compare Leeds to us now though, I honestly couldn't give you many positives to supporting Newcastle. There is literally nothing good that can ever happen to the club. At least at Leeds, they might get promoted, and the tickets are cheaper in the Championship.

Wouldn't it all be awfully nice and surprising if we were actually getting a really good manager, but they'd only be available in the summer, so keeping Carver in charge until then was the only option. /slap Forgot for a second that this is Newcastle United, never dare to dream! Come on Shteef, you're one of us now.

  6. When was the last time a club outside the relegation zone in the PL had the worst goal difference? A bad GD is usually indicative of allowing the team to cave-in more often than not. Absolutely shocking leading of the team imo.

Plenty of reasons to believe it does, tbh. Yep, contrary to popular urban myth, he doesn't have a thick skin at all and has proven to be a very emotional, spiteful and reactive person when confronted with strong criticism and attack. ..exactly Why would he leave knowing everyone wants him to (and is trying to damage his other business)? He'll chuck up more adverts and stay longer I think his want to protect his brand (SD) runs deeper than any malice he'd hold towards the club and the people of Newcastle. Protect from what though? A few people protesting outside a handful of the 400+ shops for less than one week of 52 wont even make a dent. Well, I did say previously that protests need to be ramped up. The current level is not sufficient to do anything in the long term. The first thing that needs to be done is to unite the supporter base, easier said than done. The whole crowd and city singing off the same hymn sheet would make things much easier. Getting some ex-pros on board to bring into line the less knowledgeable fans etc. It'll never happen, but imagine Shearer doorstepping for support in the AshleyOut campaign, that'd switch over almost all the naysayers in a heartbeat!

Exactly, and let's face it why would he want to sell? Bingo ^_^ Pressure from the people needs to keep being ramped up and need to target SD and televised games.
  12. Actually respect Carver for saying it like it is. Doesn't mean he's anything but a terrible manager, because the circle of blame always comes back to him and the owner.

There's no financial commitment to keeping unpaid advertising, just 'buy out' the contract for £0. Unless it's a condition of sale, which would be ridiculous. If anyone was to be seriously negotiating for the sale of the club and Ashley wanted shot, he wouldn't be so stupid as to damage the potential sale with this ludicrous demand. The demand would be made if he didn't want to sell the club.
  14. LCD lower roof panel cladding. Be like them 'invisible' clothes.
  15. I think it's a fair cop that until the Keegan debacle he wanted us to succeed, had it in for us ever since.

Can you imagine if the board made a move for Nigel Pearson and Carver reverted to head coach.
  17. Grow 6 inches after 17? Are we hoping he has Acromegaly, like? Just seen this, I was 5'6" when I left school, I stopped growing when I hit 21 at 6'4" so I think depending on the person he has plenty of opportunity to grow yet. Did you leave school at like 13? lol.
  18. Ashley said he wanted us to be like Arsenal. Then after a while he realised that meant spending money and building stadiums and stuff so sacked that off, then said he wanted us to be like Aston Villa. They've then spunked millions through Martin O'Neill and the owner decided he had enough and sodded off back to America. Strangely, not that dissimilar to us in some ways
  19. It's like the closer a fragile player is to our medical team, the higher the probability they get crocked.
