  1. Well it was even at the half last season. At least we've shown them that we can bite back.
  2. There are very few teams that are going to let Spurs play football. It'll be Bolton every week.
  3. He hasn't scored in England. He's moved around quite a lot. And has played less and less at each club. Martins and Viduka are really important players for us--can't see how Saviola could replace either of them. A healthy Owen is better than Saviola. Baggio's point is well taken though. Be nice to see us hold the ball. He hasn't played at real madrid because the coach doesn't like him. He's just about as fast as Martins, but with a first touch that isn't a pass, knows where the goal is, and although as you say (extremely validly) that he hasn't scored in England, I think he has what it takes to be a regular scorer here aswell as all the other places he has. He's only 26 and if there is a chance we could get him we should. I know there is a chance he'll flop, but I think this guy is just a good as Tevez technically, but maybe a bit faster. He is smaller than Tevez but not much. Would you turn your nose up at Tevez if he hadn't scored in England? No, I wouldn't. But I don't think that he's any where near Tevez's equal. He'd be a good acquisition. But I'm not that excited about it.

  5. Are you all really all that about Saviola? Sorry, but if Owen, Martins, and Viduka are healthy, I'd rather see them start. Saviola would be an ok replacement if when Owen gets injured.
  6. Tough call. Coloccini is yet to play a game in the Premiership. But he did play every game for Deportivo last season. And if Woodgate wanted to be here, he would be.
  7. What about this for £15? http://www.subsidesports.com/uk/store/product_details.jsp?pid=72057594037943330&portal=af http://img363.imageshack.us/img363/7576/argsexygoaljersls2006cph4.jpg Jonas and Colo is a good excuse to buy the current Argentina shirt, it's class. Hmm, I thought that the terms: "Military Junta" - "Desaparecidos" - "Fixed World Cup" Would go be more appropriate for the number 78
  8. Hope not, Zog at left back, Milner right wing, Duff left wing. Jonas is wearing a bib as well.
  9. Yeah, this is what I was getting at. Does not look like Stoke are too concerned about holding on to the ball in midfield. Faye can break up play pretty well and lob the ball up the pitch. Just what youre looking for.
  10. Champions: Chelsea Champions League: Arsenal FA Cup: Newcastle United League Cup: Arsenal Top Scorer: Adebayor Surprise Package: Aston Villa UEFA Cup: AC Milan Top Four: Same The Drop: Bolton, Stoke City, Hull
  11. It was a song about an American oil exec in Scotland back in 1983. It is something else entirely now.
  12. Well, they're building a club around Ricardo Fuller.
  13. How far off is Viduka any way?
  14. I didn't think that was Viduka. Honestly, didn't know who it was, but I figured he was injured-- not training. In any case, no way could that thin guy be Viduka.
  15. Given Beye Taylor Coloccini Enrique Jonas Butt Guthrie N'Zogbia Duff Martins
  16. Coloccini? Assuming he has signed. Hope you're right. We'll see how he does. Anyway, I'd argue that Faye is the best CB signing since Woodgate. Not saying much.
