Read a click-baity article last week that supposedly listed the most disappointing managerial changes. Bastards listed Rafa Benitez replacing Ancelotti intheir top ten. OK, get that Evertonians hate Rafa. But the drop off from Anceliotti to Rafa is nowhere near as bad as that of Rafa to Bruce.

Another Toon link: "Expressen journalist Noa Bachen provided perhaps the most damning assessment, writing: ‘There is nothing left to discuss. No ifs or buts. No nuances. No trace of alternative scenarios. No acceptable arguments for anything other than him being replaced. I haven’t been this sure since Alan Pardew managed Newcastle.’"

Yes, he is Yes. Of course he is. Oh, you mean Infantino. Yes, he's also a crook.

No. From what I have seen and heard he's the Norwegian Alexi Lalas: always wrong about everything.

I limit my Swedish hate to egotistic strikers of emigrant parents. So, two: Zlat and the rat.

Scholes recent comments have led to a number of articles that compare Tonali's stats to those of Rice, Calceido, Gravenberch, etc. Got me to thinking. Does anyone know of an article that compares Bruno and Tonali's performances before and after they swapped roles as a 6 or 8? Was there any measurable difference in distance covered, passing, goals and assists?

I took the question to mean the most important transfers. That's why I picked out Trippier, Bruno, Burn. By "our best player" I assume you mean Bruno, Tonali, or Isak.

Trippier Bruno Burn The foundation of everything that followed. And Howe obviously. Nothing happens without him.

There were quite a few positive comments about his first couple of appearances this season. He wasn't on the pitch long, but looked lively. Maybe people saw what they wanted to see. But he was really poor against Bournemouth. Noticeably bad. And many pointed that out. Still I thought he would make an appearance against USG if only to give one our midfielders a breather after the Arsenal. I'm not about to rewatch the Bournemouth game, but Howe must have seen something beyond just an inability to hold on to the ball.

I hate Chelsea. But I'm ok with this.

He's just what they need. Goal keeper. Legs in the midfield.

Hall will have him in his pocket.
