Yeah not as a manager no.

Just shows how many players you can sign in a position without solving your problems! You'd think after signing every midfielder going they'd be sorted already. Remarkable really they have spent £14 million on Modric, £9 million on Jenas and 8 million on Zakora and now Palacios for £14 million.
-
Has he a history of it? Debateable. Also he did lose control over transfers but still wanted to soldier on for the club he loved.... SBR was 10 times the manager Keegan was, antoher reason why i dont understadn the messiah like status afforded to Keegan. Bollox, if sbr was 10x the manager Keegan was, how come he had a lower win %,....see my sig,... Kevin Keegan Bobby Robson was a far superior manager he won 10 major trophies including the European Cup Winners' Cup, Uefa Cup, FA Cup ect he took England to the furthest they have been in a World Cup abroad ever and is the most successful Englishmen to manage abroad winning trophies in 3 different leagues Spain, Holland and Portugal. Keegan won absolutely nothing.

Honestly don't think Palacios is a lot better then what is currently at Tottenham in his position and at £14 million would it not of been more wise to spend it on a proper Left Winger or a Left Back that can actually defend?

Barry Silkman... not a more vile disreputable person in football wouldn't believe a word that comes out of his mouth. -
Why is there no.. has Kinnear lost the dressing room? Or do you have to finish 3rd, 4th, 5th and have no fights on the pitch to qualify for that? Maybe we should appoint Souness to sort out the dressing room..... anyone?

Kinnear Says: Newcastle have made 5million bid for Mbia

I think your right its much more likely going to end up being closer to £10 million. Unless N'Zogbia is used as part of the deal to reduce the price which I actually don't think is that unlikely. -

He has been messed about by the clubs management and consistently misused I certainly wouldn't begrudge him a move. -
Geremi is the top provider of goals this season for us one of very few in our squad that can actually deliver a ball. Even more emphasis on Guetirrez to improve on his delivery...

I'd prefer it if he was decent at leftback and not just a very good cb Tonight he will make his name as a leftback of top quality. Believe with me! He's a centre back really. I saw him in the reserve game against Liverpool and he looked a good prospect. I'm optimistic he'll do well. He can't be any worse then Edgar with the ball at his feet surely. How tall is this lad those who have seen him play? -

Sounds like Enrique, Taylor and Carrol are out. Unlikely Xisco will be given a chance... if that's the case rather then playing Duff up top tomorrow I wouldn't mind seeing Gutierrez be given a role off of Owen making runs either side of him could work well. Given Coloccini Bassong Geremi Kader Guthrie Butt Duff Gutierrez N'Zogbia Owen -
So was club draining the life out of the fans when it finished 5th and there was booing? Had Laurent Robert drained the life out of the fans when he was booed? Had Carl Cort drain the life out of the fans when he was being ironically cheered off? Or when we'd finished 3rd the season before but when Gary Speed got bucket loads of stick? The fans were sh*t when we were doing well, but 5th place was a crisis wasnt it? Its ironic really, everyone kicks off at the 'mess' the club is 'in' around that period, so when the REAL mess comes along you could say its simply what some fans deserve when they couldnt appreciate better times, and that things wernt that bad when we finsihed 5th.[b/] Souness was right, 20,000 supporters, 30,000 customers. (and thats bieng kind) Well said.

I'd advise him to take that ugly overbearing Sports Direct company logo off OUR Gallowgate. Sent the club numerous letters when it had aired itself.. hopefully he will be taking it down back to London when he finally leaves.

Got what you ''expected'' then....

Agree stopped reading after the first pathetic post. Well you obviously didn't as you wouldn't have read his post . Haven't read the whole of the other 5 pages worth. But just a pathetic subject slagging other clubs support off to be honest.

Your not the only one... Well I never............. ''Usual high standards'' and ''Mr Reliable''.

Not sure there will be a better time in the future to make such a big profit on Shay Given then this January window coming up saying that however he would be the last player I would sell bar Micheal Owen. He is one of very few this club should be building a side around, a great servant to the club and one of the best goal keepers the Premiership has seen certainly in terms of consistency.
-
My view he should be in at Right-Back till Habib Beye is fit. Edger simply isn't good enough at Premiership level in his own position nevermind out of position to continue at right back. Geremi however before he joined was a near first choice under Mourinho at right-back toying with Ferriera starting the Champions League Semi Final in the position. Anyway it would give Gutierrez a much better chance of a good pass then he had on Sunday thats for sure.
-
Must be because we always lose to them.
-
Honestly...... he is not half the player he was at his pomp at Newcastle you couldn't even say he has been a success anywhere else in comparison not too dissimilar to Laurent Robert in that respect. He used to be so quick off the mark watching him now he looks to have lost a great deal of that explosive pace due to injuries I wouldn't dispute him however having improved with more intelligent runs but not a chance is he as destructive to defenses with his pace down the side of defenders as he used to be. Regards him returning I would of thought he is far too expensive to be a 3rd or 4th choice behind Owen and Martins here, I think he would be good down at Spurs though if they are looking for a good foil for either Bent or the big Russian.

"Yeah definitely disappointed how we ever got beat today i'll never know, it was impossible to lose the game I could only see one winner really" "Not really no I couldn't of asked anymore we couldn't of played better then we did today certainly the Uefa Cup had nothing to do with it, we were pushing for the winner then we got dun in injury time" "We'll never get a better chance to come to Newcastle and win then we did today thats for sure" Fucking idiot that Harry Redknapp. Or were Tottenham that good ! http://i43.tinypic.com/1i20eq.jpg Absolutely priceless.
