It's the French Cup Final Saturday between PSG and Lille would of thought he is off to see that good chance for him to watch Gervinho in person.

Who would of thought at the start of the season Tottenham would only win three more matches then us.. remarkable really considering they had just come off a season qualifying for the champions league and we had just got promotion from the league below.

West Ham agree fee in region of £15m with Liverpool for Andy Carroll
Gallowgate End replied to Pilko's topic in Football
great diagram on Andy Carroll's "aerial prowess" in the Guardian. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2010/dec/13/premier-league-tactical-analysis Andy Carroll's aerial prowess against Liverpool was clear to see, but the chalkboard statistics show the extent to which he dominated Sotirios Kyrgiakos and Martin Skrtel. He won 18 from 20 challenges overall, including 16 out of 18 in the air. Furthermore, two of his knockdowns directly created goals – the first, converted by Kevin Nolan, and the second, eventually turned in by Joey Barton. As if to prove that he isn't just an aerial threat, he thumped in the third with a left-footed drive from 30 yards. Carroll now has six goals and three assists in his last 10 Premier League games. -
yes. but actually Ashley did not offer Venables a contract to the end of the season. had he done so, venables most likely would've became our manager. ashley was only offering a game by game deal until the club was sold. Aye
-
didn't Terry Venables have a meeting with Mike Ashley to take over short term after Keegan got sacked.. I seem to remember him saying in the paper he didn't take it because it was only a till the end of the season contract.. he certainly ticks the "managerial experience" box wouldn't surprise me if the two cockneys have been having meetings down in London.
-
If they've been thinking Hughton isn't the man long term over the last few days why give Ranger and Williamson 5 and a half year contracts only 3 days ago.. the board are utterly clueless
-
talk of Fulham trying to buy Lacina Traore from Cluj for £3 millon I saw a bit of him in one of their Champions League games really skillful, quick and powerful and he's 6 foot 7 looked like he would suit the Premier League well and at a reported £3 million its cheap given he's only 20 I think we would see his price rising rapidly in the Premiership certainly think he's someone we should look at.

Just been watching Werder Bremen's Sandro Wagner Germanys Under 21 Striker he's the same age, height, build as Andy Carroll but doesn't even look half the player Andy Carroll is.

You don't know what it was about, neither do anyone but them and the team. Why speculate and try to stir up some shit when things are going well? Are us fans really that self-destructive? I didn't speculate what it was about I don't know what it was about.. just saw it and thought the verbal tirade that I saw was very over the top. But you don't know what it was about which is why I didn't claim to know what it was about.......

I just find it disgraceful he wasn't there with all the other Ex England managers, still maybe they forgot Kevin Keegan managed England which would be quite easy considering how out of depth he was in international management. I don't post on this Forum anymore (just read) so no need to worry.
-
Eh that is the Geordie messiah() you are talking about....... Aye disgraceful Kevin Keegan didn't show respect but nothing more than you would expect from the man, he is just a bitter little old man he would of probably left the memorial early anyway...... to get back to his football circus where the man belongs keep on walking Kevin and hang your head in shame.

what i have seen of colo this year, he is no better than OBrian, Dabizas, Bramble Your right he's worse. Spot On.

Encouraging sounds like that we won't be continuing with that dreadful system against Spurs. Hopefully 4-4-2 with Gutierrez, Enrique, Martins, Taylor returning from injuries given Nolan's performances Joey Barton return can't come soon enough either. Yeah importent Jose Enrique is back he has the pace to deal with Lennon I'd have Gutierrez down the Left try and double up as often as possible. Harper Taylor Bassong Beye Enrique Guthrie Butt Duff Gutierrez Owen Martins Can't see us adding to our 7th straight league win however picking up a point on our travels could prove to be vital if we can win our three home matches against Boro, Fulham, Portsmouth.
-
Agree I thought he was arguably our best player in that end of season run with 4-3-3 his performance away at Tottenham in particular.
-
I think had Keegan not walked away I think we would of seen this I certainly agree Gutierrez abilities would be much more suited in this system.
-
According to the Chronicle Habib Beye hasn't been training due to picking up a slight knee injury against Chelsea have to say he didn't look like he was carrying a injury to me. So Habib Beye, Bassong and Taylor won't of had a full weeks worth of contact training before the Stoke match starting to worry now. Well lads at least Coloccini's fit..... that wonderful South American touch of his will be on show again.
-
Now seeing a player lacking confidence.... he's been dreadful all season get a season ticket man. Tell me who this good technical South American footballer you see is because it wasn't the one that showed that dreadful first touch of his leading to the goal that ultimately lost us the game last Saturday. The continuous excuses for this dreadful player has gone on long enough he has consistently cost us goals and ultimately matches all season which if it continues will result in relegation now if Alan with the standards he expects doesn't have him dropped at first chance I'll be very surprised.

Best point of all excellently put as ever.

Too gutless to justify such a position, of course... You do realise it's an unofficial fansite? You would of thought that's fairly obvious by their writing b*st*rds the pair of them.
