didn't Terry Venables have a meeting with Mike Ashley to take over short term after Keegan got sacked.. anyone else see Joey Barton's full on swearing tirade at Andy Carroll just before half time not sure what it was about but it was a few minutes after there accidental collision that left Joey floored.. what ever it was about thought Joey went very over the top.

According to the Chronicle Habib Beye hasn't been training due to picking up a slight knee injury against Chelsea have to say he didn't look like he was carrying a injury to me. So Habib Beye, Bassong and Taylor won't of had a full weeks worth of contact training before the Stoke match starting to worry now. Well lads at least Coloccini's fit..... that wonderful South American touch of his will be on show again.

Now seeing a player lacking confidence.... he's been dreadful all season get a season ticket man. Tell me who this good technical South American footballer you see is because it wasn't the one that showed that dreadful first touch of his leading to the goal that ultimately lost us the game last Saturday. The home games against Fulham, Boro, Portsmouth are still going to be the most defining games though the performance against Stoke should give us a far more clearer picture then yesterday to what is to come under Alan for the vital run in and those must win home games.
