Imagine the week of the takeover. Richest club in the world, Bruce binned off, Keys losing the run of himself all over Twitter. All the wankers who want to see one of their own in these kinds of jobs crying on Sky and BT. Fucking glorious.

All this crap with lines etc on VAR needs to be scrapped. Let the ref check it on the sidelines and make a call.

From what I’ve been told (and previously said), if this goes to court, the buying side doesn’t lose in a month of Sunday’s. It simply comes down to the timeframe. That's what I'm asking though, how much confidence is there that it will get done in the timeframe? If the buyers are going to walk away after a set amount of time whats to stop the PL dragging their heels until then?

Good post, I agree with Decky here. It maybe ok for those who want to see football return to a pre premier league era but Southampton vs West ham being a big game in said hypothetically situation doesn’t exactly get pulses racing. Theyd be well compensated for so long till that leagues now bigger teams say "its us the public want to watch, those at the top not you" and then cut them off. As for Southampton West Ham not setting pulses racing. Neither would a mid table clash between Spurs and Marseilles in a league I have no interest in. This is a good point, certain big clubs might not like being the cannonfodder of this new league and may try and rejoin their old leagues. Their global brand would probably suffer as well if they're losing more games than they're winning every season and they aren't challenging for trophies. But lets say we become one of the top sides in the English league post-split. If Spurs came crawling back would we try and take their place in the Super League? How would we feel about that? Also what if the Super League decided to create their own 3 or 4 tier system and invited us anyway but into League 3 or 4?
-
Not sure they'd be begging to rejoin like. A lot of the fans would lose interest because some clubs that dominated or did well in their country would become the dog shit of the league, but they'd be extremely well compensated for it. The money would be insane. The league we'd be left in would be making fuck all and clubs would be feeling immense strain from that loss of finances. Take the top 5 or 6 out. The rest of of us would be earning Championship money if not less without the draw of the PL. Winning the league would mean fuck all as well. Lets say we won that league, are we champions of England when clubs in Manchester, Liverpool and London are in the super league with some of the worlds best players in their squad? Not a hope, we'd be fake champions of England, the best English teams are in the super league.

Made a couple of changes mid week but ended up taking Son out ffs. Still got 93 points though and noticed I'm top of this. That won't last long.
-
We've had some fucking route like. We should be winning this tbh but we'll make it hard as fuck.
-
Draw is on tonight isnt it?

Anyone having issues try a different browser. Working on Edge for me.

Just bought the game and its telling me that the service isn't available in my country. Knew rightly this would be a clusterfuck.

Why is that? The new stand at Anfield? With the success Liverpool have had in recent years I'd have thought they be loaded.
-
Chelsea will hardly be aiming to win the league this year I'd have thought. They're still a fair bit away from City and Liverpool.

What is with the song in that montage? Dreadful.

Get Miggy on.

I'm finding myself attracted to Wilson.
-
If I ever leave Ireland and start a fresh I might do a Mike and change my team. Either that or just start support Bayern Munich and pretend the PL doesn't exist.
-
Hes completely cringeworthy and deluded.
-
With Wilson taking up the number 9 role I'm actually looking forward to seeing how Joelinton gets on. I was sick to death of him last year but its clear that he wasn't comfortable in that position. Still only just turned 24 too so there's plenty of room for improvement.

The Republic of Ireland are one of six teams to have played at least six Nations League games without winning, along with Lithuania, San Marino, Malta, Latvia & Andorra. Heads need to roll at the FAI for the absolute state the national team is in. This has been coming for years, they are absolutely abysmal and even when we are winning it's terrible football not worth watching.
-
Yeah but Klopp would have been coaching him, instead it'll be Steve Bruce.
-
Hard to argue with that based on what we've seen so far tbh.
