I take strength from Paully's weekly optimism.

Can't decide if I want the mackems to win today or not. If we win and Norwich lose it's great for us. Could potentially be level on points with them before next weekend. But then the mackems are closer to safety too. I suppose a draw would do even though I dont want Norwich getting another point.

We'll be the big fish in the Championship (again) and will be able to make good signings for that league. I think we'll definitely do well again but having Villa and Sunderland there as well is a problem. The mackems have plenty of experience down there and Villa will be another big pull. It'll be the 3 of us fighting for the top 2 places. So fucking typical that when Villa and the mackems finally go down we fucking go down with them.

Honestly, if it wasn't for Rafa I'd be quite looking forward to next season. This was way more fun than the annual relegation scrap.

Looking forward to winning the odd game here and there again tbh.

Have Liverpool plans to expand the other stands? Fair play to them for sticking with their history and not moving to an industrial estate on the outskirts of Liverpool.

Just seen this after reading the Ace Posts thread. Thanks for taking the time to post this. I don't think I've wanted anything more in my time supporting this club than for us to survive relegation this season. We're literally fighting for the future of the club. Years of Rafa Benitez and a serious shot at success, or relegation to the Championship and the cycle of employing yesteryear's dross as manager starts again, more years of pain and no hope. I hope this fight is drilled into the players before Norwich because we need it bad.

Beat Norwich and the Mackems and we're on 30 points with 21 still to play for. We can do it, but lose tomorrow and its all but over for us.

I wouldn't say it's a good result. Sunderland are above us now. Nothing to say we can't go down with Swansea and Villa. We need a 2nd team to join Villa in the no hope category.
