Grassroots football here is considerably damaged by the popularity of the GAA, nothing really they can do about that before next summer. We're using players within the rules of the game. Not as if the government slipped them passports under the table for it.
Away to Palace, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City and at home to Liverpool in 5 of their last 7 games this year. The might have our current points tally by the end of the year if they're lucky.
We were miles better than them last week and would have won had Colo not given away that penalty imo. Just typical derby bollocks that we're having to get used to.
He should have booked a Sunderland player in the first 6 or 7 minutes when they'd made about 5 fouls man. He was letting them (and Cattermole in particular) foul at will for 90 minutes and let us away with absolutely nothing. Fucking awful and it's about time these wankers were held accountable for performances like this and not wrapped up in bubble wrap by the FA.
Course not, but it's not a hammering. It's an emphatic scoreline but not an emphatic performance. They were awful.
The performances count for nothing now. All about the scoreline at this stage.
