If the Burn thing is about loyalty then Howe needs to learn fast that loyalty only gets you so far in football. There's going to be a lot of moving parts within our squad in the coming years and he is going to need to be more cut throat dropping players who have played big roles for him.

I think with Wilson being so unreliable we’ve been forced to take Isak back too early on a couple of occasions which is probably taking its toll now. We need a more reliable back up for Isak next year but sure we all know that.

We’ve plenty of leaders on the pitch man, fact is Burn was struggling and a change needed to be made to deal with their pace down that side of the pitch. I love Howe but the Burn stuff lately is worrying me. Burn hasn’t been all bad, he’s had a couple of good games recently but he clearly struggles against pace. We’ve a £35m full back on the bench who has been excellent when we’ve seen him and we would have won this game today if he started Tino. The thing that worries me about Howe is why does he not see it? And I don’t mean in game I mean before the game when he looks at our opposition does he not see their wingers and think Burn will struggle with the pace? Is he showing too much loyalty to Burn?

Never doubted this man for a second. I said throughout our bad run that things will change in January once we start getting time between games. It was so obvious.

Not sure what competition I'd rather be in. The CL is obviously the best competition and offers good money, but are we going to win it? Probably not, and it'll be more tough games midweek which I still don't think our squad will be strong enough for. I'd rather we didn't have a season like this one again with fatigue and injuries.
