Eddie might have been an admirer two years ago but this just feels like a lazy link being dredged up in case we might still be interested. Which I doubt tbh.
-
Keep dreamind Danny boy, Amanda's not the type to take anything lying down, she'll have those and be giving you the treatment reverse end first.
-
Pleased with this signing but can't deny the talk about his injury record does concern me.
-
With what?
-
Yeah previously he only looked like one, now it seems he does have the characteristics as well.
-
A threat at set pieces you say? Will be nice to have a 7ft defender who doesn't have a teflon head.
-
Well the players wanted Poch to stay so it's not out of the question they might not take kindly to whoever comes in. Poch has been up and down since leaving Spurs, but he's always been good at developing young teams, and he fought hard to defend the age of his crop at Chelsea. They really are clueless if they thought a change was the way to go after the way Chelsea finished the second half of the season.
-
Considering he was the one who went public about how he thought our handling of this was a bit silly, he doesn't half look like a complete tit now.
-
Tbf that's the job we'd be hiring him to do, so if he doesn't want to do it then better to find someone that does.
-
I'm backing Pizza Rob, and if I was you I'd be more worried why he's not announced the Tosin deal is done Jumpin' gun Jack.

The FA cup final's not until the weekend. Unless the City lads are going on a week long bender to celebrate the title I don't think it will be an issue.
-
He was a well rated manager before coming to England, I'm just wondering whether Sir Jim Ratshit might want to avoid paying compo fees by giving him another chance under the new regime headed by the garden gnome.
-
Is there any talk of Ten Hag getting replaced this summer? If as expected, Man U lose the cup final, would be considered a pretty poor season in most people's books. But is it really the manager or has the recruitment been spectacularly bad for years now?
-
I don't really pay that much attention to other games tbh, I've always seen Barkley more of an attack minded midfielder, not a replacement for Bruno. More of an Elliott Anderson type if you will. In any case it's being reported today that Villa are looking to sign him.
-
Just on the talk of Barkley, while I think it's unlikely, the only reason I could see us going for it is PSR. All these free transfers might give us more wiggle room for making a couple of actual top quality signings so I guess it's a cheap way to bolster the squad. Still can't see it mind unless we sell Longstaff.
-
Bruno plays as a no 6. I always thought Barkley played further forward, more in the Longstaff sort of mould...and to be fair the only way I would want to see us sign Barkley is if it meant Longstaff would be on the pitch less. He's definitely an improvement on Sean.
-
Feels like he put in two seasons of work in one to make up for those missing in action. No wonder the fans love him.
-
Just a slight correction but the sentiment is right.
-
Thanks. That's really an impressive achievement considering the season we've had.
-
I don't have that many Newcastle players down the years who have been an idol, but he might turn out to be one of them.
-
He's leapfrogged Miggy for me. While his football is sometimes a bit less tidy, he has far better delivery and for a wide man that's crucial.
-
Just hope that loss against Man U doesn't come back to bite us, but other than that we've done all we can. Conference league at the end of a nightmare season for injuries would be very sweet indeed.
-
Aren't they going for some record number of trophies in a season or something?

Nicely timed observation, right after Brummie posted.
