  1. I think we'll soon see just what an impact KK had on the team and what his loss means to the team, starting at Hull where I predict a victory for the visitors as I can't see the players being in the right frame of mind nor too happy at having their hopes and ambitions for the campaign dashed over internal feuding, much less paying any respect to this Richard Money bloke who will be managing them on the day. I think we'll see less and less of Owen who will be "injured" more, N'Zogbia will go back into sulking, Shay will be wishing for January to get out of here where as the foreign lads will be wondering what the hell is going on. Sounds like a good game to find out which players actually earn their wages week in week out.
  2. I haven't seen it, does William Wallace throw his toys out of the pram and storm off leaving his people behind in the end? have you answered what I asked you the last time you spouted this bollocks ? Do you think Alex Ferguson, Arsene Wenger for instance would stand for other people choosing the buys and sales ? fact is, your precious DOF bollocks is at the root of all this. The club just want a yes man. I told you ages ago that no manager worth their salt would work under such conditions. As for hoying toys out of the pram......... irony personfied ......... mackems.gif As I said to you then, if Keegan didn't like it then why except the job? I doubt Ferguson or Wenger would work like it which would be why they wouldn't accept the job. Btw you didn't answer my question the other day - Are you glad Wise went out and bought a striker or would you prefer to stick with the strikers we've got? Not sure why I'm even replying, one quick look at the time will tell us you're pissed looking for a cyber fight. haha, no I'm not pissed, and when I go to the pub I don't take my internet phone with me ....... Anyway, I'm not glad Wise bought a striker, what a stupid question, he shouldn't have bought anybody. He should be accountable to the manager, and also the managers choice for the role. Not that the manager would have chosen him to be his glorifed scout, recent events sort of show this to be true. You should keep up with the threads before jumping in. Even the biggest idiot by now has grasped the fact that Keegan has been misled and/or the goalposts moved, by this "professional board". Or possibly they haven't grasped it yet, it seems a few haven't. But didn't you say the club have to get a striker in and if they don't then they've failed? Even though i pointed out to you that he might not want one? If they hadn't got one in meaning Keegan had stayed you would have been moaning over that. a striker the manager wanted, Baggio. A striker the manager wanted. You do realise he's gone in protest about something I take it ? Do you really think he didn;t want a striker ? We all know Keegan, he has been toeing the party line, and saying the diplomatic thing. Thats all he's been doing. That must have been Smith then, seeing as he refused to sell him.
  3. It is a fact that HTT has given up on the club and should probably be posting on a Kevin Keegan memorial site rather than one that is still concerned with the football club.
  4. That is the Arsenal route in both parts in reality.
  5. Assuming Ambani buys in...who's to say he won't sell up a year down the line if the price is right?
  6. They probably didn't want to end up losing money. But I don't understand how this set up is saving him money - in fact quite the opposite, the disruption it's causing is sending the value of the club down the shitter. Surely it would be easier to get a manager willing to do their transfers on a shoestring than a manager willing for someone else to do their transfers on a shoestring? If he wants to save money why not start with the wage bill and just hire one manager instead of 4 part-managers? Because he didn't have a crystal ball to see things would turn out this way I expect.
  7. Sven is too slimy. Moyes isn't fit to lick Keegan's arse.
  8. They probably didn't want to end up losing money.
  9. The overriding emphasis in the FACT statement and the smear article was financial restraint and residual value of players. Theres also the "every player has a price" story which has come from several articles - do you honestly not think that money comes before football success at the club now? It's pretty hard to build football success while making a loss. The only players who were supposedly offered for sale were Barton, Smith and Owen. Why not stick to those three to make your point rather than using players who were brought in by the Evil Empire in the first place?
  10. Andy Gray made the comment during the Man U match that if Jonas continued to show what he had in that game then one of the bigger teams would be in for him - nauseating but true - and suits Ashley. Let's hope we don't sign any more good prospects in case he wants to sell them on at a profit Aye. My point is that if he were showing the slightest ambition to actually build a successful FOOTBALL club rather than a successful business we could look forward to good players staying rather than waiting for the big boys to come knocking. THeres a difference between accepting it as part of life and relishing it as this regime look like doing. You could at least wait till he's put up for sale before letting your imagination run riot.
  11. Somehow I can't imagine him offering Joey Barton support and a shoulder to cry on if he lands in yet more trouble.
  12. They could have kept Sam Allardyce on and waited till the end of last season and hired a top manager rather than Keegan, which is what you were suggesting at the time IIRC.

  14. The best solution for me would be Ashley selling up to Ambani. Not because he's been a disaster - the Keegan fiasco was handled badly, but with such different ideas on transfer strategies it was bound to blow up sooner or later. It seems like Ashley's been operating with a plan to sell down the line anyway, that's the main reason the buy out would be a good thing. If the buy out doesn't happen though, I would expect to see Asley press on with his plans and appoint a new manager. Some of the players will be de-motivated but we haven't really got too many who are irreplaceable in any case so I'm not too bothered.
  15. Terim is a fantastic coach, one of the highest calibre. If he's seriously interested Ashley and Co should be pulling out all the stops to get him here. We would find out a lot about their ambitions if they tried.

    Zola?

where is this coming from? wise was mates with ashley i presume before he bought the club? and what about jiminez/veterre? and llamblias? are they all "mates" or do ashley think they have something to offer in the business world? chris mort was a trusted advisor and did a fucking good job imo... look at it the other way, should ashley just appoint people he knows nothing whatsoever about to run his multi-million pound business? He should be looking to employ people with a proven record of success in the roles they are being employed. Chris Mort did do a very good job. Pity it was only temporary and he was allowed to leave. I am interested to see what Jimenez has on his CV that proves he is a proven Player Recruitment Executive. If this can be shown to me I shall apologise and accept that I am wrong. He sold Milner for £12m when Keegan himself only valued him at £7-8m. He must have earned his salary with that one deal alone.

    Zola?

I agree. Just what fucking qualification does this Italian U-21 coach have ffs? maybe we should appoint steve wigley then, he's an under 21 coach too, only he has more of a track record in coaching and has actually managed before. How come you're putting Steve Wigley forward when he obviously cares less for the club than Lee Clark, who is also a qualified coach and one who understands this club inside out?
  19. As our club is now "broken" with the players and fans morale at rock bottom, the best formation I can come up with is all 11 players bent over with their shorts round their ankles, ready to be fucked royally up the arse. That'll teach Ashley!!

    Zola?

Good shout, with Beardsley or Johnny Beresford alongside perhaps.

An Italian passport. You just know the same people swooning over yet another Chelsea yes-man with no qualifications would turn their nose up at Alan Shearer. As a general topic, how many Newcastle fans would actually want Shearer in charge at this moment in time? I'd personally not want him at all. At this stage, anyway. I don't like Shearer personally, but I have a feeling he could be a good manager. He's ruled himself out in any case so it's a dead topic under the current owner.
