I've heard a lot about these videos, but the ones I've seen have been them marching and chanting, and banging a very loud drum. There was one of their lot who appeared to throw a punch at someone either quite short or a child, couldn't really see the person being hit. But regardless, I wouldn't want to see our fans chucking missiles or being abusive to travelling fans unless it was self defence. It didn't look like it on that video, just seemed like a bunch of charvas having a go at PSG fans walking past.

Fair enough. It just feels like they are getting far too wound up about a club with no history or silverware (according to the poster quoted anyway), when according to his own logic we shouldn't be worth the time of day. Obviously that's just the one post quoted, for all I know the rest of the replies on that thread might all praise and graciousness. Although I doubt it.

Our side look the bigger cunts on the evidence of that video.

That's the thing though, I do find the female commentators a bit jarring, but the pundits are often more analytical than their male counterparts, a lot of whom, as you rightly say, are thick as shite.
-
More to the point, why are they talking about us? Maybe they want the match replayed hoping for a 0-0 so everyone will talk about them instead of us.
-
I think he's never complained because he's really loved playing for a massive club. Wherever he goes from here, he'll be able to tell his kids he was part of the team which shut down the mighty PSG in the Champions League.
-
He's playing with attacking intent, he could probably give the ball away less if he played it sideways or backwards. Tonali also gave the ball away a few times trying to feed the ball through tight spaces after creating openings under pressure with close control. I feel Howe is bringing the best out of Almiron by getting him to play more aggressively.

A few of them looked like they were shitting their pants during the CL theme tune when the crowd noise almost drowned it out. I think that was the point when I thought we could win this.
-
Didn't even consider him tbh after some colossal performances from Bruno and Schar, but yeah he was up there.
-
Feel jealous of those whe were there tonight. But seeing a load of kids there enjoying the magic was also great to know that the next generation will grow up knowing what it's like to see us up there.
-
I think there was one point where I saw him sprinting to close down a player on the left wing and had to double check it was him. He still has a turn of pace when he needs it.
-
Tbh I didn't understand how it was possible to press high and still remain defensively sound against players iike Mbappe and Ndombele, but now we know what the bleep tests were for when he took over. He's on course to becoming a legend here.

Another Rafa signing. Just goes to show that it takes time for players to grow into their environment. A manager who believes in you also helps.

Champions League 2023/2024: Group F (Newcastle, Milan, Dortmund, PSG)

Who wants to play us now? -
Stepped up when it mattered. Looke absolutely at home at this level, the only times he lost the ball was when he was trying to find the killer forward pass. Maestro performance.
-
Unsung hero tonight. That's exactly why we chased his signature. I hope the Everton fans who chased him out of the club were watching when he pumped up the crowd in the opening minutes to set the tone.
-
He's 29. I thought he was 33 the way he'd been written off two seasons ago.
-
Ultimate fairy tale this. He's being interviewed now and he's been one of our best value signings when you look at it now.
-
Best performance I've seen from him in a Newcastle shirt I reckon considering the opposition. Only a Schar masterclass with an absolutely insane goal to top it took the MOTM award from Bruno. He was sensational. I hope there's some extra clauses in that £100m release clauses because they'll be lining up to bid that much.
-
Rafa made him Captain. Rafa bought us Schar. He probably knew something about defending and character.
-
This will do wonders for his step up into the next level. Always felt he didn't quite believe in his own ability but now he has no excuse.
-
Don't even know what to say. I saw the Asprilla hatrick against Barcelona and I think this tops it.
-
There were a few contenders for MOTM but even without that goal he would probably have swung it. What an amazing performance at the highest level. This has to be his finest hour. What did we pay for him? £4m?

SCHARRR YOU FUCKING BEAUTTYY!!!

Murphy has looked awful since he's come on, totally overwhelmed by the occasion.
