Tbf, it was Rafa who brought him in, but Rafa was very set on his own system, and it wasn't really as well suited for box to box midfielders as our current set up is. Rafa liked to play deep and hit the front men with lightning counters, the midfield was usually more defensively deployed for most of the time.

Would have happily took that before being robbed of a point at Anfield, then another two against Palace. Feels like we have some catching up to do now, so hopefully we will get a win here. Don't care if it's deserved, we are due a change of luck.
