  2. Same here. Use the money to buy a left back and move Santon across to the right instead. Aye.
  3. Hope he has a shite day, the useless cunt.

    Alan Pardew

Why should that be the case? Does the same apply to Simpson for instance who should be upgraded? Don't be daft man, you know it's not the same thing.
  5. Man U and Spurs wins please. Norwich are quite fucking close enough at 8 points back, don't want that narrowed at all.

  7. Wonder what he actually thinks now though, Sunderland fans must hate the cunt more than we do.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Hope you punched the stupid cunt in the face.
  9. Wonder what Steve Bruce will be doing for this btw? Watching on his own with a party hat on, his mystery song ready to go on the CD player, thinking thoughts that only a horrible dickhead like him could ever possibly conceive.
  10. Did you say you imagined me running. Adrenaline pumping man.
  11. It really wouldn't, I would be asking to come off within the first 5 minutes and would be dead within 10. I just imagine you receiving the ball on the flank, the crowd buzzing with the excitement to see the new guy in action. You run at the full back but are easily disposed only to mutter "Mackem Cunt" and hack the legs out from under him. You then turn to Pardew and call him a cunt for picking you before storming off the field.
  12. Mick starting on the right for the next game would be awesome.
  13. Wonder what he thinks of our style of play at the moment btw. He said a few times when he signed that Pardew had told him he wanted to play a pass and move game with Cabaye being the foundation of all our attacks. At the moment he's nothing more than a ball winner who sits in front of the defense.
  14. Cabaye needs to play further forward for sure, don't agree about Tiote though. He's got the engine to run all day for sure but he's not a particularly creative player and tends to look a bit lost in possession at times tbh. Just slap him front of the back four and tell him to destroy everything that comes near him and play it quick and simple when we have the ball. Give his partner in midfield license to get forward a lot knowing Tiote has his arse covered. Would make both Cabaye and Tiote (not to mention the team) look a lot better if Pardew would just do this.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Why are you listing right sided midfielders ahead of Arfa ? "Ben Arfa spent three years at the academy and, upon leaving, signed with Olympique Lyonnais, where he won four Ligue 1 titles. In his early career at Lyon, he played as a centre forward" He spent 1994-2008 In a CF position. It was only then he switched to RW. He himself prefers CF and doesn`t really like RW. As I see it part of the deal signing was to be used as a Centre Forward. Its Ba and Cisse getting ahead of him which is justified in my eyes. I think if we get into Europe you will see alot more of him. Also He has spent most of his career as a substitute from what I have read. He has had only about 150 senior appearences scoring about 20 goals. I think he is a talent but not what some people are making him out to be. I'm listing RW's because he's quite clearly capable of playing there. If the long term plan is for him to primarily be a striker then I'm fine with that, but right now he's sitting on the bench despite being a blatantly better option than anyone else we currently have on the right side. If we sign a quality right winger in the summer I'll be happy to see Ben Arfa used predominantly up front (though with the current style no doubt he'll be behind Shola in the pecking order), but as of right now he should be starting out right.

We're set up to just launch it long in general, the movement off the ball is shocking which is a large part of why Ben Arfa ends up going it alone so much. Cabaye for example should be getting into far more advanced spots than he does with Tiote alongside him to play as the holding man, but he sits incredibly deep. He's not cut out to play in our current style of play unfortunately, fully expect he'll be off in the summer and if we're lucky we might sign someone better than Obertan to be an option down the right.
  17. Still fucking furious here like, can't believe we threw that away. Actually thumped the mattress and shouted "fuck" when I woke up this morning. The lass was not impressed.
  18. Wonder if Raylor will keep his spot after basically not contributing anything today. I'd start Obertan ahead of him like. He's shite but with the way we're set up Raylor may as well not even be there when he plays RW. At least Obertan gives us some width and pace. We could always play that other French lad as well of course, the one who's actually good at football, but I'm trying to keep things somewhat realistic.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Can't believe some people are thick enough to be turning on Ben Arfa. Guy has been treated like absolute shit, looking more and more like Pardew just wants rid of him and is never going to give him a real chance. I'll be fucking gutted if he goes, one of the most talented players I've seen at the club and we're just going to toss him away while playing rubbish footballers like Ryan Taylor and Obertan ahead of him. I honestly don't know if I'll be able to continue to support Pardew if he does get rid, what sort of manager doesn't even want to try and use a talent like that?
  20. Shak

    Alan Pardew

The playing Cabaye deep alongside Tiote would be understandable if we were going to go at them with two attack minded wingers who could run at them and cause problems. But instead we started Ryan Taylor on the right. He honestly may as well have not been there.

Shouldn't it be "nail on the head?" Really hit the nail on the nail there though Sewelly, I agree.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Agree entirely Sewelly, if he gets rid of HBA without giving him a fair shot (which he absolutely hasn't thus far) then it'll be a massive strike against Pardew for me.
  23. Shak

    Alan Pardew

Cabaye is playing far too deep, that's for sure. Guthrie seemed to be much more advanced against Villa than Cabaye has been in recent times, I wonder if any of it is Cabaye? His record at Lille would suggest otherwise, can't say I watched them much though so I don't know. Either way he needs to be playing further forward, the gap between midfield and attack is shocking.
  24. Ferguson at LB is too risky even for me, you can be fucking sure Pardew won't consider it.
