Everyone knows that no good players have ever played for bottom-half premier league teams. It's fact.

Surely it makes far more sense for the 21 year old to take the pay day than the 28 year old who has already had his pay day?
-
Was he supposed to manage the professional footballers into hitting a ball on target from 12 yards?

He's going to the team who play in London, offer the biggest payday and the greatest potential for a medal. It would be hard for any young player to turn down. There should be restrictions in place to stop clubs acting like this, but I'm not about to blame the player. Liverpool are on the up, will definitely pay him well, and he is more likely to play regularly in the first team. This London shit is peculiar to me it really is. These jokers train a coupe of hours a day. Go into London after, or on your days off for goodness sake. So over the top. If that was your son you would honestly advice him to go to Chelsea and end up like Sturridge did, or Demba Ba is now? I will never understand it. The guy is a moron. And the medal thing?! What point is that if you played the odd 15 mins here and there. I'd throw the thing away. Liverpool aren't even in European competition right now. They are irrelevant. I'm sure you're more than aware of the differences of living in London to living a few hours outside of London. Plus it'll be far easier to fly home from London. I would not advise my son to go to Chelsea, no. Liverpool would be the better option. But I certainly see why people would choose to pick the more relevant team in the more relevant city with the more impressive wages. Plenty of people play to make money, and he'll make significantly more money at Chelsea.

Respect to them for getting there, doesn't matter whether their run was the hardest or the easiest, they've done what they need to do to get to wembley. Now they have a chance for Europe and some silverware. I wish we were going. Saying that, I imagine they're going to get butchered, and I shall enjoy that. Even then, they're expected to lose, they can't really have all that bad of a day.
-
er, no. Not unless they beat Man City. Which they wont.
-
Jesus Christ. Just woeful. I look forward to the butchering.

wey this is full retard

what a fucking movie. That music, man.

What is the point in finishing 8th? What are we aiming for? I want a goal for the club that doesn't revolve around just existing in the Premier League. Are we trying to get European competition and push on from there? If there was a goal beyond this season, I'd be more than happy finishing 8th, but there isn't. Finishing 8th is what we're striving to do. Do well without daring to get ourselves involved in European competition. Yay. So exciting. Not sure why this is happening in this thread like.

It is not uncommon for players to take a while to adapt, but they've identified a defender that *could* help them. I'd prefer to take a risk on a player who might be good, vs picking up roger johnson and knowing he definitely won't be good.

Everything was a lot easier when we just monitored things.

you know, my first edit was a straightforward "it's all about the benjamins", but I thought that was too 90s. They do say that this stuff works in cycles. I guess it's time to dust off my popper pants too.

skrilla is still used, right?
-
Well if we're too tight to go for the Champions League places, and our aim is to finish below the Europa Qualification. See the cups as not worth it. What the fuck is the point of doing anything at all. 38 games of meh. Football is not about competing. It is about existing, and skrilla.

Man Utd are like totes not that good

No it didn't. By taking Anita off we started losing all the second balls in midfield. It helped defend set pieces, which i think was the point of it. Positive it wasn't but helpful it actually was tbf. Pardew in a nutshell. It helped us not concede instead of making a substitute to help us score. I can't wait for the day he finally leaves. Wanting Pardew to leave I understand - but it really isn't that odd that a manager might look to protect a 2-1 lead when the impetus has shifted rather than go looking for a third. Maybe he should try and regain the impetus by controlling possession, rather than hoping he can get away with twatting the ball away for a full fucking third of the game.

Surely he must regret leaving us. Making more money in a squad that's challenging for things. I'm not sure it's a given that he'd prefer to be making less money starting for a team with zero intention of winning a competition. The only thing he would miss is the glory of being the main man. You know him well? What else would he miss? Ok. I am now understanding what you mean. I guess he gets to make the decision every day/week how much he gives a shit about being the 'main man'. Obviously so far, he's decided he couldn't care less.

Boouuurnns? IDK Boo all of you.

I'm not convinced we looked better once Ameobi came on, but either way, it feels rather difficult to praise him for such a move given our lack of impetus was due to him in the first place.

We should all just agree that he's an alright striker, not mint, not shite, and move onto arguing about Pardew again.
