Agree. Though I'm not sure why she didn't just put it up for sale as soon as it was gifted to her.

Is there any actual reason this thread is so busy? I've not seen anything that makes me think this deal is more likely than any other deal.

Cortese walked because the chairman lady wants to sell, Pochettino previously said that if Cortese goes, he goes. "I would not continue if Nicola Cortese was not here. It would not make any sense if I was at this club and he wasn’t." ''Me on a personal sense, I would not understand a Southampton without Nicola being here.''

Best post here iyam.

I reckon I could be persuaded to vote 'Good' if, and only if, we were at least 10 points clear at the top and had already won both cups.
-
Not sure anyone is really arguing that they're desperate for him to stay, it's just a little sad that a good character is leaving the club, nothing more.

Wouldn't Shola's be ever so slightly different with him being a local lad who supports the team. I'd never want to leave the team i support. I may add, he should have been hoyed years ago as he's not good enough.. Aye but Shola makes a proportionate wage for the industry he works in, the cunt. http://i.imgur.com/dSaJJV8.gif

There's no chance he's leaving man. We've been here before. Fair enough, i think he will There's just no chance Jesus will let that happen. There'll be 2 days before his contract is due to expire, talks with Remy will go south, Cisse will be off to the Middle East, and Shola will be sat there, eating his apple, ready to sign another 1 year extension for 10 quid a week.

Does in football unfortunately. Well exactly, you see countless players come and go that have been paid similar money to Jonas but have not appeared to give a fuck about the club. Well i would say in Jonas's case, he was being paid and playing for a club in a league above his actual ability. Hence him not really wanting to leave, and a manager who picked him no matter what. Now that manager no longer picks him, he wants to go and play. I admire him for wanting to play, but maybe i'm a bit cynical but i'm going to fawn over his loyalty with my view in the sentence above. It's not even just loyalty we're talking about. It's his professionalism and general likeability that countless other fuckers in the game don't have.

This all over, fair enough he seemed a good bloke but thats not my concern as a fans tbh Given the shite we've had with cuntish players in the past, it definitely is my concern. I don't think the personality of players should be glossed over like this. IYAM, you fill your squad full of talented pricks, you'll win fuck all.

Not everything boils down to money you know.
-
And they have two league places to show for it. I think the fat man needs a better ROI than that unfortunately.

Pff you added more depth to your post. Boo. Still, demechelis.
-
Irrelevant stat to mention. If you wanted something relevant to post, the demechelis transfer would be where you wanna look.

If FIFA weren't so vehemently anti-Premier League: FIFPro World XI: Neuer; Lahm, Cahill, Silva, Alves; Iniesta, Spearing, Ribery; Ronaldo, Ibrahimovic, Welbeck.
