  1. Must be shite for the fans to go through the same thing every single year
  2. That quote pretty much summarises him. Deluded idiot.
  3. Really hope he can finish the season off with a goal/winner at Everton. Would help him mentally to finish on a high note although he has plenty to be proud of this season - without his goals, we wouldn't be in this position really. In any case, this summer will act as a welcome break for him. The Senegalese Olympic Coach can f*** off about selecting him for the squad btw.
  4. It didn't help that Best was injured for 4 months. When that happened, it pretty much ended his hopes of a place in the Ireland squad. Hope to see him in there in the future though.
  5. That Arsenal kit would be fine without those stupid black and red armband things.
  6. The best moment for me was the Liverpool game at St. James'. Everything about that day was just perfect - Carroll failing; Enrique being left on his arse by Ben Arfa and then having to go in goal after Reina's red card; Dalglish being shooed off the pitch by Gerrard...was just great to see the Scousers implode like that! Brilliant.
  7. Well that's because it was in May.
  8. Ah Dunne, you silly, silly man.
  9. Wenger and that bottle of water
  10. He's going to be fucking class.
  11. We should put a cheeky bid in for him then.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

What, again? The guy's an idiot.
  13. I actually wouldn't be surprised to see Ferguson start. Though, guess that depends on what system Pardew goes for, if he opts for a 4-4-2, can see Santon and Ferguson down the left with Perch-Ben Arfa down the right.
  14. Good on him One of the more likeable players in City's squad. He's had such a great season, arguably City's most important player.

    Peter Løvenkrands

Best of luck, Peter. Your contribution to us in the Championship shall not be forgotten. For that, he gets my respect Plus, I'm going to miss listening to his hybrid accent...
  16. Aye, Webb was very card happy today. What a prick.
  17. Man City (h) Reaction Snapshot (Watch the full videos here - http://bit.ly/f95moF)
  18. Me too, he's played pretty much every second of every game and has always put in 100%. Amazing he's still got anything left in the tank. Aye, same here. For the first half of the season, he was essentially a second LB so he has done a lot of tracking back/running. Jonas never gives up and just keeps running and running (into the ground pretty much). He's a key player for me.
  19. Personally, think we've missed out on the CL. Can't see Arsenal/Spurs losing next weekend, so it's too much of an ask for us now. If we had drawn today then we would have still been in it but alas, looks like it's not to be. Fantastic season though, everyone at the club have so much to be proud of.
  20. That is a lovely statue, such a fitting tribute to the great man :smitten: Wonderful stuff. Gutted I couldn't be at the unveiling but I can't wait to see it when I'm back up.
  21. Whatever happens in this game, this season has been absolutely fantastic. Let's just have fun here and try and end the season on a high note (Ben Arfa hat trick tbh).
  22. Just got back in from the pub. Yes, I am disappointed about today's result but at the end of the day, Man City were the better team so they deserved their win. We might have been a bit tired from Wednesday's epic win against Chelsea, some of the players did look a bit fatigued. But I can't fault the efforts of our players though - they gave it their all and I'm really proud of them. So, that's another season finished at St. James' Park. We've had our ups and downs there but all in all, it's been a fantastic season at home. The players, Pardew and his staff have so much to be proud of. The amount of progress we've made this last year has been phenomenal. We've truly made St. James' Park into our fortress once again. I'm looking forward to the first game of next season at St. James' already. And of course, we have the return of European football to Toon to also look forward to. Now, let's try to get a result at Everton and end the season on a high note.
