O'Neill walking would be quite funny The way I see it now, he's certainly not going to last more than a full season. The mackem culture is going to break him (well actually, to some extent, he's already been broken).

    U23s & Academy

Pretty confident he'll be offered a new one. For one thing, Pardew seems to really rate him. Think it's the case of waiting until the summer before we do anything.
  3. Indeed Probably just the pessimist in me out in force again.
  4. I'd actually be happy with a draw from this game. Wigan's recent upturn in form (today aside) means that we're in for quite a hard game imo.
  5. Hope he takes them all the way (and hopefully at West Ham's expense!). Would love to see Chrissy back at St. James' Park next season.
  6. I won't lie, with Spurs losing against QPR, I'm starting to believe now. Promised myself not to get carried away but fuck it, the excitement is too much atm! This could actually happen...oh my.
  7. Just seen Pulis' post-match comments Fuck sake, he just can't give the opposition credit, can he? Think I've found a team I want to see relegated next season.
  8. Fantastic. Just brilliant. Get in!!!

    Alan Smith

He scored? The day keeps getting better, haha.
  10. So, I've recently been stopping myself from getting my hopes up but after today, you know what? I might just start believing...

O'Neill was roundly booed according to Final Score. Yeah, I should have expected that
  12. Excellent, simply excellent Jose, Carroll Problem?
  13. Assured and solid performance from Davide today Would still like to see him get a runout at RB but he's done so well at LB recently. As Rich said in the "transfer rumours thread", if we, for whatever reason, don't bring in a new LB, then just let Santon continue his development there (while at the same time, we sign a new first choice RB, Debuchy's been mentioned a lot recently).
  14. Howay QPR. Barton to score the winner.

    Alan Pardew

He brought back the 4-3-3 and that was definitely the right move. Got the system spot on (deploying Cabaye in an advanced role while Jonas and Tiote were essentially the holding midfielders). I'm really loving it atm. Pardew 6 wins in a row. That's a great achievement, time for a mini Pardy.

    Papiss Cissé

He really does score when he wants. In the words of Pardew, "yeah, standard goal. It's a game so he usually scores." Fantastic movement for the second goal (great vision by Cabaye, first and foremost).
  17. MOTM by far (despite only playing an hour). Was in the right place at the right time for our first goal; a sublime assist for our second goal and a brilliant finish for our third. Yohan's vision and passing today was absolute class. Got to love the man.
  18. Fantastic result. Delighted with the performance, we completely dominated the game. We bossed it in midfield, we were defensively solid and of course, when you have a front three of Ben Arfa, Cissé and Ba, you just know that we would create chances. Well done to the players and Pardew

Only just seen that the mackems are playing Villa today. Hmmm, just wondering, will O'Neill get a decent reception from the Villa fans?
