  1. First proper sign of decline for me.
  2. Like fuck he'll go to Stoke. Think he's almost certain to get the Everton gig.
  3. Oh Pulis is gone? Well, dare I say that a new manager is actually what Stoke need? Didn't Pulis spend something like £50 million + on his squad?

    St James' Park

This is a good move from Wonga tbf, their marketing team are coming up with the goods but still doesn't dismiss that the nature of their business is morally wrong. The aerial view of St James' Park will be something to behold again though. The stadium was always marred by that hideous sign on the top of the Gallowgate roof so to see it finally gone is only a good thing.

  6. If anything, he would improve our set piece routine...
  7. Anything from 10 million + for Carroll is a bit too high for my liking.. I'm actually entertaining the idea of having him back, the more I think about it...he would improve our set piece routine.
  8. Ben Arfa vs Villa at home.
  9. And thank fuck it's over. Here's to a relaxing summer...
  10. I was doing that all day at the pub!
  11. "HE'S SCRAMBLED IT IN!" Ah John Motson...

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Hope he sheds a bit of that weight over the summer...
  13. He just needs to be told to keep it simple. It just comes to show that bigging him up was the worst thing to do, more great management techniques from the Pardew Book of Management.

    Alan Pardew

Please fuck off, please fuck off, please fuck off.
  15. Decent first half, typical second half. All in all though, I wasn't too disappointed in the way we conducted ourselves today. Arsenal didn't tear us apart and we more than held our own against them. Call it apathy or whatever, I genuinely thought today's showing was better than the shite we've seen for most of the season. Needless to say though, we need Pardew relieved of his duties ASAP.
  16. Really touching scenes on the 37th minute and to follow that up with a canny save. All in all, it was a solid enough performance from him which is something you, more often than not, got from Harper. Kudos, he will be missed. All the best for the future Harps! Hope he comes back to us in some sort of coaching capacity.
  17. Yes, this will surely act as an incentive and motivate the players to win.
  18. Sky Sports News ‏@SkySportsNews 3m David Beckham leaves pitch in tears after being substituted late on during PSG's game against Brest #SSN Happy Retirement Becks. He can be proud of what he's done with his career.
  19. So he's going? Fair enough, thanks Danny for your service here. No tears will be shed like, Simpson's place in the squad can be very much be filled quite easily.
  20. Stevie Harper is going to have a stormer like. In all seriousness though, hope he gets the send off he deserves. I have nothing but respect for the man and it will be a somewhat sad day. Not seeing Harper on the bench or near the squad will be a weird thing to see.

    Alan Pardew

Perfectly matches our board and ownership. Achieving status quo every year staying in the premier league and turning over a profit. any success after that is a bonus. Was thinking about this the other day too. Seems to be the brutal truth.

    Alan Pardew

This latest piece of "news" is very much unwelcome. The way I see it is that Pardew will never change his ways and that in turn is not going to do us any favours in the long term. His comments last week just demonstrates that he has no ambition and we're never going to progress if he is still in charge. I can't help but feel pessimistic about our chances. This season has broke me and to see the person who has done that to me to be potentially be offered another season in charge does not fill me with any hope whatsoever.
