Decent first half, typical second half. All in all though, I wasn't too disappointed in the way we conducted ourselves today. Arsenal didn't tear us apart and we more than held our own against them. Call it apathy or whatever, I genuinely thought today's showing was better than the shite we've seen for most of the season. Needless to say though, we need Pardew relieved of his duties ASAP.

This latest piece of "news" is very much unwelcome. The way I see it is that Pardew will never change his ways and that in turn is not going to do us any favours in the long term. His comments last week just demonstrates that he has no ambition and we're never going to progress if he is still in charge. I can't help but feel pessimistic about our chances. This season has broke me and to see the person who has done that to me to be potentially be offered another season in charge does not fill me with any hope whatsoever.

With regards to Beckham, I have nothing but respect for the man. Love or hate him, he has and still is a great ambassador for football/sport. That right foot of his was one of the best imho. His celebrity status may have got in the way at times but you could never fault his commitment on the pitch. Happy retirement Becks.
