My heart wants to say the FA Cup but my head is telling me PL survival. Winning a trophy would be a truly magnificent event to see in my lifetime but winning it at the expense of top flight football would seem to be a hollow victory...

Thank fuck Wigan are finally going down. They can hold their heads high for winning the FA Cup but really, couldn't care less if they descended into midtable mediocrity in the Championship/League 1 or whatever. I hope I never see them in the PL again [/bitterness].

Not a surprise whatsoever. Mancini is as negative as they come - he's just an expensive Pardew really. The uninspiring performances in the CL, the inability to retain the title. I seem to remember Guy Mowbray (or some idiot from the BBC) saying that the next 10 years were City's. I laughed at such a ludicrous suggestion - they were never going to dominate anything with Mancini in charge.

FWIW, I don't really want a massive protest at St James' next week. Think people leaving the game as soon as the final whistle goes should suffice...
