Find a youtuber you can bear the craic of and let them do the research for you. They'll put up things like strikers/defenders with a good run of games, people with high xG who are valued lower than they should be etc, then choose your favourites from that pool. You could do that yourself obv but why? I usually have a couple of toon lads who usually fuck up my team but who cares.

My partner, partly inspired by the men's euros, started playing football for a women's team a couple of years ago. She fucking loves it now, plays FPL, watches MOTD, we play in a mixed 5 a side team together as well. It's been amazing to watch her love of football grow and I've made loads of pals with her team mates. We've watched all the England games with her football team in our local, and all the knockout games. Atmosphere for the semi and final were incredible, such a great feeling. A better spectacle than I'm used to watching (re NUFC and England) for the past 10 years. Some genuine quality and I love the style of play. I really cared about that final win and to see the reactions on the teams faces when they did it was pretty emotional. Mon the lasses!

So he's gonna be almost 38 by the time his contract is done? Seems wild to pay that much and give him 4 years when your finances are in such a place.

It's hard to know what effect training with better players has on a young player, I can see maybe with Foden it worked well, but they had truly inspirational players at his development, players like D. Silva. We've not really got that calibre of player yet. I think more important for him is game time. That's why the Championship is such a fertile ground for buying young players these days. 5 subs is a good point though.

Think a season in the championship would be amazing for him, personally.

I can't see how he'd benefit more from staying and not playing.
