Aye, not sure what everyone's so bothered about. Doucoure was undoubtedly getting it in the ear all game from Liverpool fans. The fans are so close to the players at Goodison, it would literally just take one wanker shouting at him a few times to merit what Doucoure did. Just a bit of shithouse fun IMO. Then 100% if someone's being a shithouse to your fans (especially if you're a local lad) you're gonna boot off. Fair play Curtis Jones. All good fun IMO, loved it.

Pretty standard tactic. Forces their players to drop or for our players to be onside and unmarked for the second phase once the defensive line has dropped.

Is it not clearly a rondo? Why's there players in the middle running about? Definitely seen them performed with more intensity than that What are they getting out of it?

I suppose I disagree. I think Bruno is very press resistant, but I see him semi-regularly (once or twice a game) get caught with the ball immediately in front of our CB's. He's generally trying to turn his marker or buy a free kick under pressure. Sometimes this doesn't work. No player is perfect, but it's a higher risk strategy than having Tonali there, who moves the ball quickly and accurately away from opposition pressure (making him press resistant in a different way). I think our play has benefited from this.

One of my favourite things about him is having that player that other teams get sick of pressing. He'll just pop it off to another player, they'll retreat and we'll pass it back to him. He'll turn and make some space and the opposition all just stand there, waiting. Happens so much. Gives us control of the tempo, something we've lost since Trippier lost it. I think teams target Bruno, 'cos as good as he is, he'll give you the ball a few times a game from overplaying, and you're straight in at our incredibly slow CB's. Tonali nullifies this as he's harder to press and doesn't push up or break lines like Bruno does.

I thought he was awful at wolves and my Sevilla fan mate hated him for results and quality of football, so I'd say he's pony.

That Isak > Jackson transfer is emblematic of my season. Usually in the NO top ten but can't get close this year. Not sure why, is it the transfers? I keep sticking and twisting at the wrong moments.

Aye, I think I agree. We'll score goals vs the shite teams but I'm not convinced it's loads and Jackson has such great fixtures past spurs that I'm happy to take the hit for future gains and the ability to start sorting out my defence next week.

I just took a minus 4 to get rid of Isak for Jackson. This the yellow card thing is overblown cos at least you know when he'll get his christmas rest and change your team accordingly. I'm also having my worst ever FPL season, so I'd stay away from my advice.
