  1. It's time for the likes of Smith, Barton, Nolan, Duff, R.Taylor etc. to redeem themselves efter last year (last few years in some cases). If they have any bit of a conscience the lot of them will put in a cracking performance tomorow to help the club when it most needs it. Unfortunatly, I can see exactly the opposite happening.
  2. The bloke from BBC Radio Humberside on Look North said they are in talks.
  3. BBC Look North (Yorks & Humber) just said Hull have agreed a fee with Newcastle and he is in talks.
  4. Somewhat sad to see him go but it was inevitable.

    RIP sale thread.

As explained before a non-disclosure agreement simply means they can't go about talking about the club's finances that they have seen during due dilligence.

    RIP sale thread.

Quotes from McMahon McMahon said today from the Far East: "We would certainly be looking to keep Alan. "He would be a major draw for players to the club and for the supporters. "Shearer is part of the future for Newcastle if we acquire it.'' Yet McMahon says progress on the sale has been slow. He said: "We need something to happen very, very quickly, for Newcastle supporters, and for the players. "The season is only two or three weeks away for the Championship to start. We urgently need something to happen, and we're trying to make that happen. "I would imagine this week is crucial. If we don't hear anything back by the end of the week, it doesn't look hopeful.'' It is understood that United have not reached £100million but McMahon said: "A hundred million is difficult. "We've just offered what we believe is the value of the club. "He's lost a lot of money on it, but he was there when Newcastle needed him. OK, it hasn't worked out for him as a business, but we don't intend to steal it off him, that's for sure.'' RIP sale thread.

Sounds like he's stepping up the pressure on Ashley and trying to get the fans on his side. Makes me think that the offer is less than what Ashley wants and he is trying to force his hand.
  9. We could do a lot worse than signing Michael Ball.
  10. At this piont I would welcome him back with open arms. Just shows how far we have fallen.
  11. The gulty player imo. Owen Nolan Coloccini Barton Butt Cacapa Geremi R.Taylor Mark Viduka - Played well towards the end of the season but where was he during the first 3/4 of the season
  12. Kyle Naughton would be good cover at LB.
  13. Will be announced tomorow as they will be waiting on the outcome of the game tonight before deciding.
  14. The benefit is those players could pick up injuries. I'd love the above to be the team but it won't happen
  15. Ashley has fucked up monumentally, he obviously hasn't got a clue about football and he's made terrible decisions. Our awful squad which was assembled at a high cost was partly inherited though. The previous owners have a lot to answer for as well, this is what is not being acknowledged by the Shepherd cheerleaders. The one thing that annoys me is Ashley and his spin doctors keep on telling us they have to trim the wage bill down due to mistakes from the previous régime yet they were the ones themselves who signed Viduka, Geremi, Barton & Smith on extremely lucrative contracts. If I'm correct at the very least Viduka was signed before Ashley took control. And I'd have to check when Barton was signed, think that ay have been before he took control as well.
  16. That's fucking shocking. Fuck off Hughton you clueless fuckwit.
  17. Your mad. Everton are a very good side and we have been fucking awful this season. The win against West Brom has got people's hopes up way too high. I'd be more than happy with a piont.
  18. Ince and Adams I feel for. Both at clubs that were selling off there squads and going into a rebuilding phase.
  19. The protest rally is completely pathetic. Ashley is here to stay and we need to get behind the team.
  20. Don't even care about the next manager right now I just hope he gets better and makes a full recovery.
