  1. He was available for selection. Hughton obviously just decided not to select him which is completely the correct decision.
  2. If there was anyway we could get Adam Johnson from 'Boro I think that would be a huge signing for us. He's just what we need, a real winger who is young and can play on either side.
  3. Is Nolan actually suspended for this one? I thought there was some sort of 7-day rule regarding sending off's via a second yellow?
  4. Glad it looks like we've ended our interest. He's 35 and Taylor and Colo should be first choice. Kadar has done a good job when he has come in and we can always get another defender in on loan.
  5. Unless we sign a 12-15 goal a season striker, centre-back, a midfielder who can create things and a right-winger as the bare minimum, then we'll be back where we are within a season. In January? Simpson will do for me in January. Wait until the summer to do our big business.
  6. Fuck! Done his knee again? Apparently so.
  7. Luque. Was absolutely awful.

    No. 1 striker

I think it's more about finding the best partnership. Clearly our best goalscorer on what we have seen is Shola. Therefore my ideal strike pairing would be Shola + whoever works best with him.

Bad miss yesterday from hom. For all his good work he needs to start taking his chances.

Simon Bird on the Mirror criticises David Miliband for not signing the Early Daily Motion supporting keeping the name. http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/opinion/columnists/simon-bird/Stop-being-a-Twit-Miliband-and-show-your-support-for-St-James-Park-article230299.html Only problem is Simon Bird has done no research for this article and clearly is unaware that members of the government (i.e. David Miliband and Nick Brown) are prohibited from signing Early Day Motions. Fail.

    Chris Hughton

I'm not going to say a bad word about Chris Hughton. This season he has worked in the most difficult of circumstances and has got us playing decent football and winning games, which is all that is important to me. Time will tell if he is simply a "Yes" man to Ashley but until he makes those mistakes I am fully supportive of him and have no interest in criticising him.
  12. Can't believe they sacked him. They were in League Two 2 seasons ago. Crazy.
  13. Sad times for Jonas, feel really sorry for him, must have been buzzing after his goal.
  14. Poor first half. Better second half. Did really well to get the win with ten men.
  15. What happened? Why was Khiz sent off, it sounded like Kadar was the one involved and Khiz was trying to break them up?
