I'm not sure how you can claim that, confidence is probably as important as skill for a footballer. A lack of confidence can easily stop you from working as hard as you might do if you are confident.

I expect that Huddersfield will be much tougher than Reading, Reading are not on +2 goal difference for nothing, their defence isn't that good. They like a lot of possession without knowing what to do with it most of the time. I hope tonight hasn't taken too much out of us before Saturday and I hope Rafa uses the squad to give us fresh legs. Huddersfield have Man City tomorrow and they'll probably make a load of changes to have players ready to go against us. I'm sure Rafa will manage the situation.

We have, those two were instrumental in us coming back on Saturday, I don't think I've seen them both so up for it in the second half and lifting the other players which was good to see.

I think he's got plenty of time, my only concern is that I would have liked to have seen him using this season to take a step up against what should be lesser opposition. I think he'll be more effective in the Premiership because he's likely to get more protection from the match officials.

He would do us all a favour if he learned to keep his mouth shut at times, especially then he's talking to the ref's.

I keep thinking Rafa is going to see through him and every team sheet has him on it at the minute. I think Hayden being fit will finally see the end of him, it's the only thing saving my sanity.

Perez is a good player with no confidence, especially when playing at home where he was unlucky against QPR and unlucky against Bristol. He goes down far too easily at times and people get on his back for it and he loses even more confidence. He's not a shit footballer but he's had more than his fair share of shit games both this season and last.

He follows Shelvey because he knows nobody would ever pass to him if Shelvey is an option.

I didn't think he was s***, I thought that he was doing the job he'd been asked to do. That pass today is why he's worth every penny we paid for him too. Only two players in the league are doing that away to the team top of the league. The only thing I don't like about Ritchie is that he sometimes does all of the hard work well and then hits the bloke who is a metre or two in front of him with the ball. I like that he hates losing, he's jumps up and down like a kid when something goes wrong.

I'm quite calm but I would be a bag of nerves working behind some of our defenders, I get nervous just sitting behind them.

That alone makes him better than the others.

They've only had the best defence since Saturday, before that we had the best defence.

I do like it when he comes from deep with the ball, we don't do that enough and we're too predictable at times when we're hitting 50 yard Hollywood passes, or trying to.

I agree, the only problem is that I don't know who is better than him to play number 10 unless Perez can get his shit together.

He's currently our best keeper, even if he is shaky at times.

Atsu is excellent at this level and he gives us something we don't have enough of, pace. It's not just his pace though because he's got good control at times and he helps take pressure off us.

I hope he is but we've done well without him, even if we could have done better with him.

I think that is going to be our style now, win ugly. Tonight wasn't winning ugly, if we'd had a clinical finisher we'd have won it by half time. Most of our players weren't as bad as this thread makes them look.

It was good but the first is my goal of the season and Diame couldn't have placed it better if he'd tried, I know he didn't mean it.
